I've got a 3-page CYOA-style story in the latest ish of the SpongeBob comic book. Features Cute Darren and a #blobfish.
Yup ... Kaz. Kaz Kaz.Written by David Lewman, Dave DeGrand, art by Dave DeGrand, Gregg Schigiel, cover by Gregg Schigiel.
A sneaky cartoonist turns SpongeBob and Patrick into the stars of a new hit comic strip -- "PlungeBob and Splatrick" -- and the briny buddies can't handle the fame! Then, Mrs. Puff's vacation cruise is severely compromised by a certain stowaway fry cook. Plus Kaz and Gary Leib tell the story of a customer who hates SpongeBob; Maris Wicks reveals scientific secrets of the puffer fish; and Scott Roberts draws a very Pogo-esque SpongeBob pin-up!
32 pages, $3.99.
Hey! You know who is one of the contributors to SpongeBob Comics #37 (which comes out tomorrow)? Why, it's that comics powerhouse Ulises Farinas!, that's who! He drew a story scripted by Dani Michaeli titled "DreamBoat." In it, SpongeBob drives a boat...while dreaming!!! Look at this beautiful sequence by Ulises, with color by Ryan Hill and letters by Rob Leigh. Look at it, I said!
A sneaky peek at the back cover to SpongeBob Comics' "underwater dreams and nightmares" issue--from a sketch by Corey Barba, pencils and inks by Gregg Schigiel, and color by Rick Neilsen. You wanna see the whole thing? Buy the issue tomorrow in a comical shop.
SpongeBob Comics #37, on sale tomorrow, includes a story where pants run wild! Story by David Lewman, pencils and inks by Jacob Chabot and color by HiFi's Brian Miller. Lettering Rob Leigh.
Theo Ellsworth drew a really dreamy dream story (a panel shown here) for SpongeBob Comics #37--I love Theo's art. Go read his comics (after you buy this issue of SpongeBob Comics....). The story was written by Derek Drymon and colored by Dave Stewart.
David DeGrand did an amazing job bringing to watercolory life a comic written by David Lewman (in, yup. #37, on sale today). It's got an unusual layout, but I'll let you see that when you plunk down your money for it, True Believer! With lettering by Rob Leigh.
Did I mention Bob Flynn wrote and drew a 2 page comic for the latest SpongeBob Comic? I should have done. Here, look at part of it. Pretty, ain't it?
Two more sneak peeks..Corey Barba's Meliesian Squidward and Kochalka on sleepwalking. #spongebobcomics
Written by David McGuire, Scott Roberts, art by Scott Roberts, Gregg Schigiel, cover byJacob Chabot, Mark Martin
In our ocean-shaking volcano issue, witness the explosive birth of Patrick's new house! It happens in "Guest to Pest" by Scott Roberts. In "Magma Morons," SpongeBob explores a volcanic island with a secret-courtesy of Kaz, Vince DePorter, and a big photo spread of a "real" volcano! Plus, in "Formula None," SpongeBob goes on strike when Mr. Krabs replaces the Krabby Patty ingredients with artificial filler! Also, facts about undersea vents by Maris Wicks (Batman '66, Primates) and Dave DeGrand's tale of the weirdest-shaped toe blister in the history of Bikini Bottom!
32 pages, $2.99.
Hopefully he'll be an original writer for the comics from now on.DadMom AngryPants said:I love the cover!
And more Kaz? :patrickomg:
David DeGrand drawed and colored this crazy panel from SPONGEBOB COMICS #38...on sale tomorrow. Don't be a-scared.

CHOOSE! Travis Nichols says "it's all about good choices" in his comic in SPONGEBOB COMICS #38. There will be consequences, folks.
