New SB episode ideas

"Krabby Kake"

Mr. Krabs wants to bake his mom a cake as a way to start improving and building upon their mother son relationship but the only problem is that Krabs doesn't know any recipes to bake a decent cake but when he sees SpongeBob bring a cake to the Krusty Krab that his grandma made, he hatches an idea to ask his grandma for the recipe which he does get but the twist is that he doesn't want anyone else to help him bake the cake (not even SB's grandmother) because he wants it to be made with his own claws as much as possible to impress his mom. The fun in this episode comes from Krabs failing to make a proper cake and trying harder and harder to get it right until he almost gives up and realize that there's no shame in asking for other people to help and yeah. Random idea that popped into my head just by playing around with the Patty Cake Patty Cake nursery rhyme name but I guess if this had enough funny and heartwarming moments, I could see this working as an episode.

It's a Moneyless Life (Christmas Special)

In a homage to It's a Moneyless Life, an angler (pun intended) shows Mr. Krabs how he and everyone would act if Mr. Krabs was generous and nice. And then he shows Mr. Krabs what would happen if he kept being cheap and jerky. Since Mr. Krabs never learns his lesson, the angel makes it so bad things happens to him when he's cheap. Every dollar and cent he touched would disappear. Every patty SpongeBob puts on the grill instantly burns out. The customers would form an angry mob against Mr. Krabs and throw him out. So he learns his lesson that he can still have money and be generous about it too.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...

I really think the writers should do some parodies of Mr. Scrooge, It's a Wonderful Life, and other classic movies.

"Cop and Clobbered"

Two fugitives are on the lam and try finding the least suspicious place to hide in. They pick Patrick's rock and convince him to let them in tho Pat doesn't know who they are at all. Pat makes them feel at home by baking sand and dirt cookies and the robbers having to put up with his stupidity, which wouldn't be over the top but kinda subtle and low key. The fugitives even make a bomb to throw at the police as they're coming and pat mistakes it for a ball and tries to play a game of hot potato tossing the bomb to the frightened crooks and it explodes and then the cops come and the robbers go mad because they wanna get as far as possible from Patrick. Newspaper headline the next day would say "Lazy starfish unwittingly catches bumbling fugitives."

Finally, I have an great Idea for an episode that, Isn't all about Squilliam but he'll be featured.

WORD OF THE DAY!! SpongeBob & Patrick learn a new word, Anemone, and keep repeating It over and over again while laughing. Annoyed the people of Bikini Bottom chase after them, until eventually finding the word Anemone funny.

Yeah, it would be really great for the writers to do a nice homage to any of those movies.

They just better not screw it up like they did with Willy Wonka and Atlantis SquarePantis.

I had an interesting idea, which i hope hasn't been done in this thread before.

Okay, let's say Sandy creates a literal Split Personality machine that extracts a part of your personality into it's own being. But the catch it, the personality it takes out of everyone is ...the jerk/flanderized parts we've come to complain. SB is like how he was in Boating Buddies/A Pal for Gary, patrick was like he was in....a lot of episodes, Mt K was like how he was in ...again, a lot of episodes.

You see what I'm getting at? It's a way for everyone to realize how...bad they can be and boom, we have the best episode ever.

Squidward's Bedtime Stories (series of episodes centered around this theme, sort of like how the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy episodes were set up and titled):

The way this premise would be set up is that in each and every one of these episodes, SpongeBob has trouble going to sleep and he needs Squidward to tell him a story to get him to go to bed and you'd also get to see that Squidward actually has a soft side sometimes in doing this. There would be lots of parodies here like Robin Hood (Squidward as Robin Hood and SpongeBob as his traveling companion or something), Green Eggs and Ham, William Tell, Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack and Jill, and all of your other favorite classic childhood stories and also one where SpongeBob becomes a muscular, manly superhero. Greek and Roman mythology (especially something like The Odyssey) would also be some of the inspirations for the stories. At least one of these episodes per season.

Alternative title:

Squidward's Badtime Stories

Kinda wish the show had done something more like this a long time ago but maybe with the fact that Ernest Borgnine has passed away that they would need to come up with something new here.

I could see this working as a Legends/Roadtrip style collection of episodes. And rather than having obvious parodies, since the show usually stays away from that kind of thing, there could be a general popular bedtime story setting/theme for each episode (forest/pirates/castles etc) with a unique story. Maybe a handful of vague nods to popular stories of that genre but not so much that they would be using already existing plots. I feel like if we ever got to that point it would just scream "running out of ideas".

I think I like that even better and you're right. Fits well with what the show is known for.

Squidward quits his job at the Krusty Krab to join the army, thinking that he'll get a lot of benefits and that there will never actually be a war anywhere near Bikini Bottom (also meaning that he can be as lazy as he wants) but finds that things get really heated when he actually has to try to fight on the sidelines during an actual war nearby. Meanwhile, Mr. Krabs takes over his cashier duties for the next couple of months and doesn't wanna hire anyone new because he thinks this will save him the most amount of money and finds that Squidward's job is harder than it looks. SpongeBob isn't a big part of this episode idea at all BTW though he probably would appear at the end and during part of the subplot.

"Like Clockwork." SpongeBob and Patrick help to clean Nat's clock collection, all 456 of them and a bunch of his antiques before 5 PM for a pack of gum and 20 bucks without screwing up. SpongeBob for once is actually the straight man in this episode and Patrick's just Patrick, not over the top stupid or anything.

Alternative Title: Clockwork Yellow

Didn't use that alternative title cause it sounded too cheesy even for a pun for the show.

"Karen's Upgrade" Plankton decides that the operating system that his computer wife runs on is getting old and needs a makeover, so he installs a new program onto her that ultimately changes her personality. She becomes a lot more kind in the process but she also comes up with a ton of bugs that make her really hard to deal with and Plankton's stuck with a difficult decision to make: Downgrade Karen back to the way she was or try to make the new OS actually function or just go with a bit of the old and new.

An episode where the characters go bowling. Simple as that.

Also an episode where Squidward doesn't get abused, Mr. Krabs doesn't act all greedy, Patrick isn't stupid-annoying and everything isn't boring.
In a nutshell, yup.

In a nutshell, yup.

Karen's upgrade sounds a lot like Karen 2.0.

It played out differently in my head but the show has done plenty of Karen episodes so I can see why there might be some similarities here. The thing is that here, Plankton doesn't make a different wife for himself and he wants to see if he can make Karen's life easier and that's the aim of the plot of this one. Also kinda satirizing how people felt when Windows Vista was first coming out years ago and how much trouble they had upgrading to it and finding that the OS kinda sucked.

Looking at it now, I should have added more stuff here to make it stand out plot wise.

Squidward wants better terms for his contract at Nickelodeon and wants compensation for all the work he's done over the years. He's tired of SpongeBob being one of the most loved characters on the show and wants a piece of the action so they let him become the main character of the show to see how that works out and it ends up flopping quite badly or at least no one likes it.....BUT Spongebob congratulates Squidward for really trying to make things work and offers him an apology. The end.

No, Popeye, you'll broke too much 4th walls. Don't try to be like Brain Grub (Chowder) and Stimpy's Fan Club (Ren and Stimpy) :P

Lol. I think one of my favorite cartoons that really had 4th wall jokes like that was this Bugs Bunny cartoon called "The Big Snooze" and I think I also had that sort of mind for this idea.

Pearl Gets Arrested For Being A Teenager: OK, this doesn't even need a good plot and it would work, I just know it and that everyone would be happy about it. :wetpaint:

THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN.

I'd make it a medium success really with no flops, because that's really getting old seeing it every time personally. Plus it should be followed with Squilliam only getting the rich people and miserably failing in the end as well. :hehe: Just my thoughts.
