Musclebob Buffpants, Employee of the Month and Opposite Day are no longer considered Prototype Makerbob a long time ago

I was skeptical when it was first classified as Markerbob, It just doesn't look like the same art style, even if it was an evolution.

Last OvalBob episode, Employee Of The Month, closest to Karate Choppers


First MarkerBob, Karate Choppers



There is literally very few Similarities, being thick outlines. aside from that it's definitely not the same art style. bare in mind they're only 8 episodes apart from production order. I doubt an art style could evolve that fast. If anything OvalBob looks more related to SailorBob.

One thing I really appreciate about Truth or Square was how faithful they were to cel animation digitally. I mean, look at these. You would NEVER notice them by yourself.

Like, they didn't have to, but in the "I'm ready to go to work" song, they draw his mouth on all frames during his bouncing. They didn't need to do all of that for those scenes which are like 30 seconds each.

I could imagine Truth or Square as a post-sequel. It would honestly probably go the same but the pacing would be faster and the art would be more dramatic.

Which is unfortunate, because it makes it harder to contrast with the "Flickering Funnies" part.

I think modern SpongeBob looks like it was designed for television. The animation quality still looks more professional compared to most web animation.
