What is a Teen season?
A teen season is a season of a television series that is equivalent of the human years range of a teenager, which is between seasons 13-18. In a broader sense, it can also refer to any season in the teens (seasons 10-19).

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie had some faces that resembled post-sequel expressions:

Season 2-3 always looked old, even when I was little. Season 4 looked new in the late 00s but it now looks a bit dated.

Season 8 is no different start to finish, it's the most consistent non HD season. Accidents Will Happen/The Other Patty look excatly the same as Move it or Lose It or Hello Bikini Bottom.

If think if it had not been for Vincent Waller and Mark Ceccarelli, Spongebob would of been like Family Guy and the animation would not have changed since Season 9A

can just imagine an alt universe where people complain about the show looking too stiff nowadays

Here's my first attempt drawing a background, pretty difficult since I don't have the proper software for realistic paintings.
