SpongeBob Fan Shellabration - Sept 7-8 - Universal Studios Hollywood

I know this was already discussed in other topics, but according to a Viacom sizzle reel, a spongebob fan convention is going to happen on Labor Day. This website gave info about it. I took a screencap of it.

Who thinks that SpongeBuddy Mania and SpongeBob Universe should have their own panels?
 
14 year? weird. Sounds cool but I have more important things to do. But I'd love to hear what they're going to do and announce there. I hope they'll release more info on the hiatus, movie, and new episodes! Want to hear all the news now!

I still can't believe how little information there is about it so far.
I guess we got info that it was going to happen on Labor Day... There's a pretty good chance I'll be going.
 
What do they mean by a "feature film" will premiere? "Feature film" means movie length, right? "Premiere" means its new, so it can't just be the first movie. But it's obviously not the new movie because that wouldn't be ready.

I think it might be the new movie, but I doubt it'll be the final cut. It said it'll launch a "worldwide campaign" for it, so it has to be the new one. It can't be the final cut, but I'm sure it'll be something.

Usually it does, but "feature films" can include for-television films depending on who you ask, so if I had to guess, I'd say that the first film would be that. They really should word it better. :/

Well it said "worldwide campaign", so I think it'll be an unfinished version of the new movie.
 
They should just have a Nick convention, so they could celebrate all of the Nickelodeon shows. That's my opinion.

That's a better idea, but nobody really likes any of the newer shows. They should have old ones added too.
A animation convention would sound great!

Its either a sneak peek or maybe just some new special that will air at the convention before the tv airing, plus every season other than Season 1 has at least one special, so season 9 needs one.
 
I would suspect that they would show a sneek peek of the movie at Comic Con too. If its just at the SB convention though, that would be cool. Expect to see a person with a jester hat there. ;)

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2: Featuring Squidly! the only reason I even agreed to do this is because unlimitedcha paid me 7,000,000 bucks to do this!
