Is there any way I can get an e-copy of these comics? :)
I haven't been able to find electric/digital versions of these comics, (They may not have them available in this format ) but I do know you can get printed copies off of Amazon, eBay, and certain comic websites. I think you can buy the Comic Crazy series electronically...

Sandy - ''My stars, SpongeBob! You boys just keep A-SHRINKING and A-SHRINKING! Musta been that formula y'all got into! What strange fate will befall you once you become too tiny for even my finely tuned instruments to detect? TARNATION! Will you fellers shrink until you are no more than particles of matter? And when you finally reach SUBATOMIC size, will you discover answers to the universe's greatest mysteries?''

SpongeBob - ''Greatest Mysteries?! We're gonna find out why fish have lips?''

Patrick - ''DUH. How else could you kiss them?''
^That's the SpongeBob and friends I remember. Classic and gold memorable humor right there.

If only there was somewhere (other than the Internet) to get these. They used to be at Barnes and Noble but they don't carry them anymore.

Don't forget that issue #27 is out now. :)

Also, the Gold Sponsor comics for Free Comic Book Day 2014 have been announced, and SpongeBob Freestyle Funnies is one of them. Here's the cover and description:

"Bottled Up" sounds funny, and I always love Bob Flynn's comics so this issue should be great.

The cover reminds me of SpongeBob's outfit from "Rule of Dumb":

Why does that cover remind me of "To Love a Patty?"

I'm scared for this one, for reasons previously mentioned.

I never actually got any of the comics myself, but they look great!

From Gregg Schigiel's blog:

I’ve been drawing (and writing) SPONGEBOB COMICS, available at better comic shops (and some newsstands, apparently). In May 2014 be sure to go to your local comic shop’s Free Comic Book Day event (the first Saturday in May every year, so in 2014 that’ll be 5/3) and pick up the SpongeBob issue. I wrote, drew and colored a four-page story in there I’m excited about. Here’s a sneak peak:

[...]

Moving forward into 2014, plenty more SPONGEBOB COMICS, including a story I’ve written and am drawn, one involving a mechanical bull-type situation and another concerning a group of pirates playing cards.

Issue #28 is out today. :)

A list of people who worked on it from the official Bongo blog:
Derek Drymon, Jacob Chabot, James Kochalka, Maris Wicks, Kevin Cannon, and Nick Jennings.

Nick Jennings caught my attention in particular, because I don't think he's worked on anything SpongeBob since the movie.

Weird. Derek Drymon, Caleb Meurer, and Nick Jennings work on the comic books now but don't have time for the actual show???? Last time I saw Drymon and Jennings get credited on a cartoon it was for Adventure Time. I wonder if they're still both working on that. These sound great. It would be so awesome if any of them could be part of the crew for the next season though it's probably not likely. Anything can happen. They got Sherm back on the second movie.

SpongeBob Comics #31 cover and details are finally up! (Source.)

spongebob31.jpg

Written by Joey Weiser, Chuck Dixon, art by Vincent DePorter, Ramona Fradon, cover by Gregg Schigiel.

After staying up past their bedtimes, SpongeBob and Patrick vow to go for it and stay up All Night. Their mission, to become "Kings of Night" --ó and the nocturnal antics that ensue are worth donning those night-vision goggles you've been sitting on. Then, Silver Age legend Ramona Fradon (Plastic Man, Metamorpho) joins with Batman scribe Chuck Dixon to weave a tale of Mermaid Man's run in with true love, in a story we could only call "The Lovely Lure of Lady Mackeral." Also in this issue: SpongeBob tries out different shapes to improve business at the Krusty Krab, and poker-playing Pirates try out a new deck of SpongeBob-themed cards. All this plus "SpongeFunnies" by James Kochalka (Dragon Puncher), tidal trivia by Maris Wicks (Primates), and a back cover by Eleanor Davis (The Secret Science Alliance)!
