"I love this episode. It's funny and appealing to watch; the frozen setting makes for lots of unique visual gags we wouldn't normally get to see. Even though it's a "Plankton steals a patty ... again" episode, it doesn't feel at all repetitive to me.
My favourite moment is when SpongeBob thwacks Squidward with his spatula in order to launch a Krabby Patty. "

"Well, I waited until the day. It was sure hard to do, but it ended up being worth the wait! :D
And what a sepcial it was. I bet you sooo much work was put into this special, to make seem like classics such as Rudolph. Speaking of that, how about dat Rudy reference? Anyway, it had some nicely done, spread out humor, to go with the great ideas of design for the claymotion. My favorite was SpongeBob. He actually looked quite cute! The way he just tries to save Bikini Bottom, and defeat robots. That part was funny! What else? Well, it had some fantastic musical numbers, unlike "Atlantis SquarePantis." It dealt with Plankton, not focusing too much on his or Krabs' restaurant. I can't wait to see the Patchy segments, hopefully Nickelodeon will show them on December 9th. "

It's A SpongeBob Christmas is my favorite episode of Season 8.
 
#6 Sing A Song of Patrick

I thought that this was an almost perfect episode of "SpongeBob SquarePants". It was a tad better than "Waiting" but not as good as "Rise and Shine". Patrick writing a song so they can play his song on the radio was funny. Patrick's flashback as a kid when he would get hit by dodgeballs was funny. Patrick thinking so hard that his head is smoking was funny. It was absolutely hilarious when SpongeBob and Patrick went to the top of the radio station to play Patrick's song and then everyone in Bikini Bottom except for a few people his song which was laugh out loud dang hilarious. The very ending was funny as well when SpongeBob and Patrick were getting hit by dodgeballs. My score was just a little low because I didn't like it when Patrick took SpongeBob's wallet and got the $100 out of his wallet. Overall, this was an almost perfect episode of "SpongeBob SquarePants". 9.5/10

Sing A Song About Patrick is good but it's not in my top 10 for post movie episodes.

"I thought it was pretty good, and a good way to start off a season, better than Krabby Road, the one that started season 6. The plot was very simple, but the things SpongeBob and Patrick did with the sand were amazing, and so entertaining, although I found it a liiiittle childish, I guess, but still. I loved the ending! 8.9/10'

What's so bad about that episode? It's one of the best Season 8 episodes besides It's A SpongeBob Christmas and Planet of the Jellyfish.

"Aaand that's another winner for Season 9. It washes out the awful taste Squid Defense left in my mouth. Then again it was written by the team that pretty much writes Pre-Movie level episodes easily- TEAM BEAST: Luke Brookshier, Marc Cecarelli and Mista Lawrence!

Da Good
-Mr. Krabs beating the crap out of a baby was weird at first but became funny this time around.
-Mr. Krabs getting beat up by old ladies was good too.
-I laughed at Spongebob popping up in the window randomly.
-*Plankton walks past Patrick* "Too stupid." I laughed.
-Spot may have had the most unoriginal name in the world, but he was cute.
-"It's not showering me with unconditional love! I think it's defective."
-"HOLY PLOT TWIST"
-I loved the dramatic close-up on Spot's empty collar.
-The scene at the pound was awesome too.
-"You were on my optical cornea the whole time!" Plankton had some great lines this episode.
-SPOT GETS BIG
-And...Plankton keeps Spot? Holy plot twist indeed. I wonder if we will see him again, since this episode didn't seem in a rush to go back to the status quo. Then again, the show doesn't really have continuity, but it has been beefing up in that department lately. I hope Spot appears again.
