181b. Squid Baby

I'm not sure why, but at first, the concept of Squidward turning into a baby creeped my out a little.

I've seen some praise this episode as being "Rock-A-Bye-Bivalve: Squidward Edition". While I wouldn't rank it that high, it is an enjoyable episode.

I wish this would have been a lot grosser. or disturbing. Otherwise, I didn't like this episode either.
 
This episode is um.. a lot like a Season 5 episode. A BAD Season 5 episode. This actually feels REALLY out of place for this season.
The episode was pretty much unfunny jokes (except for the My face! also my leg, but mostly my face! thing), gross-out, and dull. It's so dull that I have almost nothing to say about it. :|
I seriously wanted to type about this episode more, seriously. But this episode is so.. dull. I can't type much more about it :/

I kinda liked it. Not the best episode ever, but it did have funny moments, like the "my leg" reference.
 
Squid Baby sounded kinda cute, loved the "My leg" shout out, but the episode was messed up. Disturbing, in fact. So far, the worst of S9.
 
This episode was just wrong. Hitting your head so hard that you turn into a baby is real, and no laughing matter. It's disgusting and really really stupid.
 
I know people are going to disagree with me on this but, I think Squid Baby would look funnier if he was grotesque and disgusting in the face rather than cute. I also thought the diaper joke was unnecessary and unfunny. I actually don't mind when they do gross out humor on the show but, only when they do something original that you wouldn't even think of being really gross (especially in close-up shots). I hate the lowest common denominator toilet gags, though. =/ Like others have said, the "Also my leg" scene was funny, though. XD
 
A bit of an odd plot but I still like it, I thought it was pretty good :D
 
I actually don't see what's so horrible about it. It's not THAT much of a Squidward torture fest. I thought it was hard to watch Squid Baby get hit in the head repeatedly, but other than that, I liked the episode! And this was the best line of the episode!

Nat (the yellow fish): (gets his face drawn on by Squid Baby) My face! My face! Also my leg but mostly my face!

This episode raises a number of alarming questions about just what the writers of this episode were thinking, I found this episode to be very unpleasant to watch mostly because this episode is about Spongebob and Patrick taking care of an adult in a diper.
Dear Writers of spongebob,
Please leave your poisoned imagination out of this show!

Also this episode makes fun of head trauma, could you just imagine if instead of squidward they were taking care of an actual infant child?
