Why can't we just enjoy Spongebob for what it is?

Yeah, I remember seeing "Krabby Land" on the wiki and being so confused. I knew it was disliked and usually considered a bad episode but not bad enough to be scumbob. I will never not laugh at "[O]ne of the children even popped one of SpongeBob's bubbles, which is disrespectful," being a reason why it's a "scumbob" episode
ScumBob wiki can be a pretty funny place sometimes

Definitely, at the same time it's kind of sad seeing people dislike an episode so much they probably spend 30 mins finding the smallest things to justify it being a scumbob lol
yeah like even as a reviewer myself

how is something like "squidward fell" or something dumb like that a reason for a scumbob episode

Yeah, it's always funny when a character gets slightly hurt or another character is mean to them and they put it under "[enter character name] torture." It seems most Scumbob wiki editors believe characters must be perfectly fine and nice to eachother at all times or else they're jerks

I know this isn't really the same thing, but apparently a kid got doxxed because he had the uncensored Sailor Mouth clips...

Which is honestly just fricked up, it doesn't matter he was hoarding it you dox someone because he has it and you don't.
wait what?O_o

Wouldn't be surprised if it did happen and sadly I don't think this is the first time someone's been doxxed for owning/supposedly owning lost media.

It's just screwy all around, sure you get something never before seen but at the end of the day you're essentially on the wrong side of the moral compus which is being ignored because you found something...

Yeah I understand the importance of finding lost media but that goes out the window when u dox someone or threaten them to release a piece of lost media.

I'm so glad I left that wiki.

I don't regret one bit of it. It's just all people with unoriginal opinions hating on the same episodes repeatedly. Half the time they don't even have good reasons it's just "It was bad".

Like, alright, we get it already, you really hate One Coarse Meal, this is the 400th time I've heard it. And from a reviewer, it's okay to dislike commonly disliked episodes, I do! But seriously, an entire wiki for hating episodes? Why is it needed?

Wish the wiki didn't exist, there's literally no point in it existing in my opinion.
That, plus most of the articles are borderline-unreadable with their horrible formatting that abuses caps lock (or at least they used to; not sure if they cleaned them up).

Decided to check the wiki after reading your comment. It seems most articles have been updated to include better formatting and grammar altho some are still difficult to read from the amount of grammar mistakes (watch this comment has five grammar/spelling mistakes).

I try not let these discourse get to me. I still enjoy SpongeBob no matter what era. But discussions on it have gotten out of hand lately.

I can't believe I never saw this discussion, I agree so much with the original sentiment expressed. Which, yes, rich coming from me, the person who does the long SpongeBob reviews, but they're all in good fun and out of love for the show, not a desire for discourse.
