This episode is overly hated. I've seen lists put this episode so high, when it's not really deserved. Though, even without the toenail scene, this episode is still bad. If you're not phased by that scene, then this episode is really boring. It's just another Squidward torture episode, with more extreme examples of torture. The only thing other than the ending, is when Patrick does his business in Squidward's house, and the toilet becomes alive, for some reason. Yet again, the only thing saving this episode from being higher on the list is the ending. Squidward wins, which is different than most Squidward torture episodes.

This episode is so disgusting. It's just all gross-out. We get just people eating grease and a lot of repetitious jokes. Mr. Krabs has something with a lot of grease, then the townspeople run to him... for some reason. Then, Plankton makes something with more grease, and then people run to him. Repeat until you fill the runtime, then you get this episode. The health inspector comes, and Plankton and Mr. Krabs both get off Scott-free.

Hint: It's a Karate episode

I'm glad it was that instead of Karate Island. I seriously don't get the hate for Karate Island. It's not bad. Karate Star on the other hand is worse and is just a stupid episode.
 
I've never seen Karate Star but wouldn't have minded Karate Island in its place. The punchline in that episode is something a lot of kids who watch the show wouldn't even get and I just find it...dull.

We just needed an episode where Patrick learned karate. Because everyone was asking for it. If it wasn't already obvious, the problem is Patrick. He pretty much has the IQ of a rotten potato. There's also a bunch of pointless moments of Patrick trying to do karate moves, and him just chopping things. The worst part is probably when he goes into an ice cream parlor, eats all the ice cream and doesn't pay, chops the door, and gets no punishment. Then we learn that he can't control the chopping, even though a couple minutes ago, he was chopping in control. He goes into the Barg' N-Mart, destroys it because apparently his hand is out of control. After he realizes that he crushed SpongeBob, Patrick rips off his arm, and repairs the Barg' N-Mart. If they ended the episode there, this episode wouldn't be so bad, but then they had to add the joke that sea stars can grow out of other sea stars' limbs. What a great ending.

Hint: I want to be really vague about this one :P It's a season 8 episode
