And another user who I will not mention by name to avoid causing problems, was exposed for some pretty awful things and one thing I will give to ESB is how they were blocked from the wiki.

How much admins does your discord server have? Is there a chanve you can delegate some of those peoples issues to the other adminds (unless u already do this)?

I have promoted a few more admins on my server luckily :) there are other staff including Four and Official who I mentioned previously, and admins who are mostly big friends of mine.

And I agree with the user divide. Though I am in no way old or an "original fan" (I was born when season 8 was coming out I believe), many of the new users are probably much younger than me. And it's very hard to talk to them sometimes

I remember when you said One Coarse Meal was made the same year you were born and I couldn't wrap my head around the fact 2010 was 14 years ago.

Yeah, most of the newer users on ESB seem to be in middleschool (mainly 5th to 8th grade).
 
I just read through this whole discussion lol.... I used to go on ESB frequently back in the day (like 2016-2017) I didn't really contribute or post though, and I definitely don't go on now that my interest in SpongeBob has dwindled. Only reason I'm even still here is because I care about this site and I love the community that we've established.

But it sucks to hear that it's gone downhill. I imagine it's not fun to be on a website for so long just to feel like you don't belong anymore, or that staff does almost nothing about users going rampant. And yeah, someone should NOT stay an admin when they've been inactive for 6+ months, I get that people can be busy or whatever but if that was the case then you obviously don't have the time to look over the site and therefore shouldn't be an admin. But uh... this is my perspective as an outsider lol, since I haven't actively used ESB in years.

Also just gonna add this as an aside to the post above me: I have been struggling to fathom that the early 2010s was that long ago. Time just feels like it slips away the older that I get and I do not like it.

I have. But like you said, no one ever believes me. It doesn't help that I am also mostly ignored by pretty much everyone

Well you aren't ignored on here. If ANYTHING does happen to you, I can guarantee you that most of this website will rally in a search effort to find you.

most are asleep but I also think I'm annoying them and they no longer like me as much as they did because I'm annoying and clingy

and also I kinda want a hug but I've been saying that the last 6 months and everyone is getting sick of hearing it. people are just sick of me so now I'm left by myself

no wonder most of my friends forgot about me over summer break again, I'm just forgettable and disposable as it is and honestly I see why no one ever wanted to hug me
