Mickey Mouse Season 3's animation is kind of like Adventure Time Season 3's animation. It goes from looking like Season 2 to 4 over the course of the season.

Some episodes like Coned! could easily be mistaken for Season 2. While the facial expressions are a little less limited without the teeth showing, it still has the same thick lines and character designs from the season prior.

Most episodes use a blend of Geomouse and Smoothmouse.

Then some episodes like Good Sports use Smoothmouse, with maybe a couple Geomouse-ish moments.

And by Season 4, the transition was finalized and the animation became 100% Smoothmouse.

Mickey Mouse Season 3's animation is kind of like Adventure Time Season 3's animation.

Regular Show had a more linear progression than Adventure Time did. Adventure Time still had some episodes that were produced well into the season that had remnants of the first two seasons, Ghost Princess being one. Apple Thief and Paper Pete were on and off. While episodes such as Morituri Te Salutamus, The New Frontier, Marceline's Closet and Incendium are no different than season 4.

That also happens with the Mickey mid-Season 3 episode Couple Sweaters. The first twenty seconds look near identical to Season 2, even Season 1.

Also happens in Dexters Lab too. Dexter’s head switches from double chin to his Savino design in a lot of the dot crawl episodes of season 3.

Too bad there’s a four season limit for Disney shows. We’re never gonna know what season 5 will look like

On Adventure Time; Conquest of Cutness is indentical to season 2 (background music, dialogue, and animation wise) I also thought that Hitman and Memory of a Memory were season 2 episodes when I was little. Still was another one that felt like season 2. The beginning of Memory of a Memory had season 3 artwork at the beginning of the episode when Ash is telling Finn and Jake that Marceline is in danger, but then it switches back to being classic once they arrive at Marceline’s house. The Monster was another episode that was switching back and forth, there are some instances where Jake has his season 1 design for a few seconds. Fiona and Cake had the classic style too, it then switches to the usual season 3 animation at the end of the episode where it shows Finn, Jake, and the Ice King. The last few minutes of that episode were probably produced much later on. It reminds me of how on SpongeBob, the specials in season 3 would have normal animation during the actual episode, but then it would have markerbob during the animated sequences in the patchy segments.

The animation in South Park Season 1 is so bad, it's almost unwatchable.

I think we can all agree that Parker and Stone's construction paper technique did not fare well at all.

Looks like something from the 1970s

You wonder why they changed the animation technique by the 2nd episode; less time consuming and more better looking...

Blue as a baby has weird animation that kinda looks like NeonBlue
