It's similar to MarkerBob
Thin colored outlines - defeat the entire purpose of MarkerBob
Black outlines - larger then colored
Noodle arms- arms are very thin compared to that of MarkerBob
Bent mouth smile - common trope with normal animation, MarkerBob is usually always curved

This is a very early stage of NoodleBob

Yep, like Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy VI: The Motion Picture
That was not intentional, only scene that had an intentional filter was when they showed the film in the krusty krab

There must’ve been a colorist at Rough Draft during that time period who liked experimenting with pale shades of yellow. The same thing happened with Mandy’s hair in Billy and Mandy.

It was their first season back since a 2 year hiatus, so they'd have to get things sorted again, They didn't even have the stock day model until Krabs VS. Plankton

The only explanation as to why there was no MarkerBob after 2002 is because the animator responsible for it either left Rough Draft or got moved to a new animation division for another show

They likely eliminated markerbob because they didn’t want the bold colored lines to be too noticeable. They likely came up with more strict guidelines to keep everything more consistent. Technology also got better which is why every episode now has the same color pallets

Probably...

Here's the palebob on MM & BB VI: The Motion Picture

I think that in Chimps Ahoy they only recycled the season 1 model sheet for the scenes where he is wearing the water helmet, because he looks normal when he is not wearing it

They definitely used outdated model sheets, but it still has that Markerbob feel because of how rough looking the backgrounds were in that episode

Pranks a Lot is the only Markerbob episode where Sandy's treedome appears, and also the only time we can see the treedome in Season 3Screenshot_20231108-205844_Gallery.jpg
