I don't understand why SpongeBob's head color is so inconsistent with the series, Maybe the model sheets never specified what color it was

Season 2-3 look like they’re in some weird purgatory that’s halfway between traditional cel animation and digital ink and paint.

Well while rewatching spongebob I found something Spongebob Shaked so hard He became perfect square So squarebob?

Something like that can happen.
Some title cards can get errors and mistakes, such as in the title card for Sir Urchin and Snail Fail, there is a shadow part of the title card's blank if you zoom in closely to see it. Another example is: Gary's Got Legs' title card text has a tiny dot between the "G" and "O"

Well its in a episode Idk But for a couple of frames He became a perfect square

I think the backgrounds and title cards are still hand painted, just scanned digitally which is why they’re not dark like they are in season 1.

I have that feeling with the episode Forced Kin, the last cel episode of The Powerpuff Girls, which seems to me a mix between cel and digital color.

They probably just used high quality scanners and equipment, making it look digital, like the later cel seasons of Ed Ed n' Eddy

Only Season 2 had that issue in my opinion, it had some weird moments that looked like they were supposed to be in Cel animation

Does anyone else think Fear of a Krabby Patty looks older then Pranks A Lot?
Seeing how off-model the 2004 episode is compared to a 2002 episode makes it look a lot more comparable to season 2

I'm still shocked that they've been using toonz premium until season 8, i guess a massive update happened between 2002-2004, or they simply hired new animators

I know right. Season 2-3 look entirely different from season 4. There also has to be some logical explanation as to why there’s no markerbob beyond 2002
