When I was little, I never noticed that Just One Bite switched art styles. I just knew that the episode had normal animation and wasn't markerbob.

The Smoking Peanut is basically a color corrected version of Krusty Love and Sailor Mouth.
I always thought this felt like a season 1 episode, same music usage as a season 1 episode.
But it also still sort of looks golden but to a lesser extent.
Could fit with early season 2

This was the last normal animation episode before the great color error of season 2 (if you don't count gary takes a bath)

How come late season 2 has worse coloring than early season 2? Despite the staff being more used to animating episodes digitally by then.

Maybe there was a glitch with toonz premium around the time?

I don't think there was a glitch for Toonz Premium. Somebody probably didn't calibrate the colors correctly when the episodes were being mastered. Krusty Love and Sailor Mouth are the only episodes I can think of that may have had a colorblind colorist, or there was something wrong with the computer monitor they used to color the episode.

Some episodes look normal when they have a clean copy, Band Geeks and the Secret Box look normal on their original prints. They only look bad when they're ran through Nick US, which has very bad dot crawl. Someone probably broadcasted them using composite. PAL region has scart which is why they typically don't look bad or have dot crawl in that region. Krusty Love, Gary Takes a Bath, Frankendoodle and Sailor Mouth have coloring issues regardless of the master. Episodes with slight coloring differences are a stylistic choice. Sailor Mouth and Krusty Love have the worst coloring out of any episode in season 2. Spongegaurd on duty and My Pretty Seahorse have very bland colors, same with Nasty Patty.

That would of been pretty funny and cool if they had a colorblind colorist, maybe that colorist got some glasses after sailor mouth

Apparently Rough Draft hired a new set of animators in season 6, they did Giant Squidward, What if SpongeBob Was Gone? and Chum Bucket Supreme, they also tend to use stock backgrounds in Giant Squidward and the What if Spongebob was gone short, presumably to get episode animation work done quicker, they joined the rough draft korea team in 2007, I was told this on fandom by someone who has been to rough draft studios in seoul

Glasses don't do anything to help colorblindness.

That explains why the shorts look like they were made in the middle of season 6. Who was the member on the fandom who worked for rough draft studios. I'd like to know the origin behind markerbob and normal animation.

This scene in Stimpy's Invention had such bad shadow problems due to John K.'s animation practices, they actually had to retake it after the episode originally aired.

I have noticed that the Just One Bite deleted scene is a slight combination of season 3 and a brighter style. Anyone else see that?

This Blues Clues merch thingie looks like Slippery Soap is in SplatterSoap and CrayonSoap at the same time

Speaking of Slippery Soap alot of the scenes with him in What was Blue's Dream about had alot of NeonSoap moments
What_Was_Blue%27s_Dream_About_011.jpg
But in one scene he is NewSoap-ish lookalike combined with NeonSoap for a split second
What_Was_Blue%27s_Dream_About_004.jpg
The exact same episode mostly used NeonBlue for Blue and it only had one CrayonBlue moment

I don't notice the differences in the art styles in the modern episodes of SpongeBob, all of them look the same to me.

I have many questions to ask the old pokemon anime's animation...

Ash_catching_Totodile.png
First of all Totodile is almost not the color it should be in the gold and sliver episode "The Totodile Duel" and it stays like that til idk what!

Totodile1 (1).png
This is normal...

I think it was because the creators were still using cel animation idk
