for me it's the closeups in Wormy, i've honestly always been scared of insects so this scared me as a little kid

Overall, I wouldn't consider any moments in the show truly "scary", but there are full episodes that have always made me uneasy (Squid's Visit and Spongehenge).
 
Either Puffy Fluffy's monster form in A Pal for Gary, Squid's Visit, or Boating Buddies.
 
Honestly, Squidward choking on a fork in graphic detail from "Naughty Nautical Neighbors."

I had an experience with choking when I was really young, so Squidward's pain in that scene is way too real and relatable. The thing about choking is that it's very painful and very unnerving.

I cringe whenever I see that scene. Thank god Patrick stepped in to save the poor guy.

Maybe I found Ghost Host to be creepy but I also find it more awesome than creepy.

Agreed. Even as a kid I always thought that scene was wicked cool, especially how it was drawn/animated.

Nosferatu from Graveyard Shift always scared me when I was younger.
 
I have to go with Fred Mercury, the hot sauce drop REALLY scared me as a kid. "I've been waiting for you Patrick" is one of my favourites, though. ...for some reason, SB sneezing down the KK in Suds scared me...but most of that episode (especially SB's sneezes) scared me. Because I used to be scared of germs as a kid. :rofl: =/
