why's needs to have 2nd channel?

+1 channels are a way for channels to make more money on a cheap basis by basically having the exact same channel but just an hour later. It's useful if you've missed a show that you want to watch or there's a scheduling conflict.

I'd imagine Nick Jr 2 exists for a similar reason, make more money by having two of the same thing.

Okay, Charter has it listed at 64 here. And that was the channel number that Comcast had for Disney Channel. They switched places on Charter's package.
