What happened to SpongeBob's Hydro-Dynamic Spatula?

You know, the one from Help Wanted. With the port and starboard attachments, and a turbo drive. What happened to it and why was it never mentioned again? It seems that SpongeBob just used a regular spatula after that. Maybe Mr. Krabs took it away after seeing it make WAY too many Krabby Patties for just Patrick. Or maybe SpongeBob just prefers to have it on normal mode. What do you guys think happened?

Maybe it was SpongeBob who decided to use a normal one but still kept the old one. It was in the TGIM video, so that implies he does still have it.

It is kind of weird that they didn't have it be a thing in other episodes. It could have been like his prized possession. Plus, think of the merchandise Nick could have sold :druggedkrabs:

well i always thought that he always had it but hadn't used it's special features until all that glitters and it finally broke after so many years of use and it got all rusty and just broke.

Kind of based on the new movie but not really, I have a theory that at some point, he switched to a regular spatuler because he just liked the feeling more, OR the hydrodynamic spatuler short-circuted it.

What if he saved it in a box under his bed or something? Maybe in the last episode Spongebob, a bit older, will be going through some of his posessions, and he'll come across the hydrodynamic spatuler, and the episode will end with him remniscing about the events of the pilot.

Mr. Krabs could see that SpongeBob was more than capable of making patties with regular spatula, and since he hadn't even planned on the hydro-dynamic spatula existing in the first place he generously allowed SpongeBob to buy it for a second time and take it home.

Why the Heck does he no longer use this at the Krusty Krab?!

Why did he replace this Hydro-dynamic Spatula with Port & Starboard Attachments with Spat?!

If He Paid for the Hydrodynamic Spatula(which he probably did); He Should be allowed to use it
that makes NO Sense. . .

This is PRE-Movie Krabs; he hadn't been Flanderized into the Uber-Greedy monster who'd be willing to drive his archnemesis to Suicide in One Coarse Meal!!

Plus; Spongebob Bought it and Paid for it with his own Money; once he paid for it, it was his to keep;

I Don't see why Mr. Krabs would be opposed to Spongebob making more krabby patties at a faster rate, and get more money from more service. . . since He was able to serve krabby patties faster with the Hydrodynamic spatula than he is with Spat/Fifi/Flipper. . .
