Was Mrs. Puff justified in trying to murder SpongeBob?

SpongeBob deserved a few good punches, but killing him is too far. Although I understand why Mrs Puff is so mad at SpongeBob in the episode.

No. Not in the slightest. She's worse than SB in the episode. Although the episode doesn't really stand out as a truly terrible one, it's certainly bad, and Mrs. Puff's behavior was part of it. The best part of the episode is the title card.

In my honest opinion, she should've kicked him out of the boating school after that, which she should've done over a decade ago. Sure he has almost killed her several times, I kinda understand why she'd want to kill him, but Spongebob was completely unaware of what he was doing, and at this point in the series; Season 8, Spongebob is almost essentially brain-dead, so in a nutshell I belive Mrs. Puff should've expelled Spongebob instead. Infact Demolition Doofus is my least favorite episode due to that fact, I even jumped when I saw Mrs. Puff appear later S8, in Move It or Lose It and Hello Bikini Bottom, that's how bad the experience was for me to see her blood lust in Demolition Doofus, especially considering its a TV-Y7 rated kids show.

The Power of TITULAR CHARACTER: the power that can be so ::dolphin noise:: unfair with another character (it can be so dangerous if you combine it with The Power of FAVORITE CHARACTER BY FANS)

Um, killing someone in a cartoon is not even comparable to killing someone in real life... =/
Yeah, sure but that's not what we're talking about here, you're missing the entire point of this thread that you created. We're not talking about whether we should be mad at Mrs. Puff, we're talking about whether she was justified to attempt murder.

Which is why I said this:

Doesn't saying this defeat the whole purpose of this topic?
