Visual Artifacts Found in SpongeBob

this scene in the SpongeBob episode "Patty Hype" has dot crawl even in international prints. You can tell that the dot crawl in the flower cloud on these CRT laced Italian encodings looks so bad that it looks like static and the flower cloud even has signs of rainbowing.

Yuck, it looks like it has a comb filter from the mid-1980s

I wonder if they could fix that.

I don't think they could knowing that when it zooms into this from a frame, the background doesn't even have CRT effects, meaning they must've screwed up and sent the video with extremely bad composite artifacts to the studio during production
They could just use AviSynth/VirtualDub or just get the animation file and redo that.

Ever seen episodes with distracting antialiasing?

plus I saw on that MundoNick's Brazilian website that The Secret Box and Band Geeks have dot crawl on Nickelodeon Latin America and Brazil

I just now realized that Survival of the Idiots has dot crawl when Sandy's dome is shown and says 'Keep Out'.

ouch. That has to have been hard burned into the raw masters. There's also dot crawl when Patrick is shown with Sandy's fur on his forehead and when Sandy goes "SPOOOONGEBOOOOBB! PAAATRRRIICK!"

Palebob and early season 9 don't go together. But Season 9a in the US is so oversaturated, it makes my eyes hurt. Spongebob was so bright he looked like he was radioactive

Yikes, even the newer episodes have GoldenBob... and this episode just aired today too

I just realized Help Wanted has dot crawl on the Season 3 DVD and Texas/Walking Small have dot crawl on the Season 1 DVD.
Thus, that makes 2 more episodes with dot crawl on the Season 1 DVD

Pizza Delivery
Home Sweet Pineapple
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy
Pickles
Nature Pants
Opposite Day
Squidward, The Unfriendly Ghost
The Chaperone
Scaredy Pants
I Was a Teenage Gary
Sleepy Time
Suds
Arrgh!
Rock Bottom

18 episodes without dot crawl
Reef Blower
Tea at the Treedome
Bubblestand
Ripped Pants

Sandy's Rocket
Squeaky Boots
Culture Shock
F.U.N.
MuscleBob BuffPants

thus, there's more episodes with dot crawl than without dot crawl.

Clams with Season 2 DVD tier palebob and CRT effects on the SpongeGuard on Duty DVD

plus Mid-Life Crustacean has CRT effects on the Sponge For Hire DVD and Wet Painters has CRT effects on the Sponge for Hire DVD which really makes me want to see someone get out all of the SpongeBob DVDs I mentioned earlier in this thread to get screenshots from every single episode
