Well, maybe you would, but Sandy definitely won't. One thing that massively differs Sandy and Squidward is their vibes and how they approach SpongeBob's annoyance.

They both see SpongeBob as an annoying little brother, but while Sandy sees him through the eyes of a caring big sister, Squidward sees him through they eyes of a gothic big brother.

Sandy and Squidward are completely different in personalities. Even though they are both rational and intelligent, Sandy welcomes (and in some cases enjoys) the occasional nutcase moments with her dumb friends.

Squidward does not.
