Holy mother of pearl! Those are references only I would do. If this is true this will be my favorite episode of all time. Anddd it's a special so were going to have tons of continuation in it probably. Man, I knee S9 had past episode references but just wow. I don't know, I don't feel like I believe this some how. They've never shown the GG since the movie but have made multiple references to it. I guess it would be about time to show it again. I mean they showed Weenie Hut Jrs again in Blackened Sponge. And the GG and Weenie are both kiddy restaurants that I've always wanted to see together. I just hope this is real. I remember when Angry Jack returned in a book too. Since when do they make references to the movie? Unless... There's going to be more movie related episodes that take us directly to the first movie. :o :o :o

Actually they showed Weenie Hut Jrs. again in Stuck In The Wringer, not Blackened Sponge. :p
 
My mistake, my mind was thinking since he had a black eye in both that it was Blackened Sponge. :p

Wow, you actually made a scene from "All That Glitters" funny.

I'm impressed.
 
In one of those "coming up next" bumpers, I think I saw a glimpse of this episode (like split two seconds).

Squidward, SpongeBob, and Mr. Krabs is in the the dining area which is splattered with messy krabby patties. Krabs is smiling and Squidward has one leg kneeled on the floor in front of SpongeBob. SpongeBob says something like "my life has purpose again!" Weird.

I'm pretty sure he got his job back...I could be wrong though.
 
Cool, from that cover, it looks like the special won't just revolve around SpongeBob losing his job, but around him getting a new one at *insert weenie restaurant here* and then Squidward and Krabs trying to get him back. I'm a lot more interested in the special now.
 
The cover makes it look a lot better, I agree.
