SpongeBob Movie 2 Merchandise Thread

I'm not going to read the book when it comes out. I read the preview and I feel like certain things like the [spoiler3]booby-traps[/spoiler3] would have been a funnier reveal to have seen visually instead of reading about.

They also have a few previews for the little kids books. Here, here, and here.

The first two look like they're mainly just stock vector art, but I love the art style for Krabby Patty Caper! The artists name for it is Caleb Meurer who apparently used to be a storyboard artist for SpongeBob and from looking at his work here, I think he should come back. I know his work on the show wouldn't be as stylized as this book, but he clearly has lots of talent! Also, I'm not sure if he's the one who painted it or not, but whoever did deserves proper credit too, because the painting is awesome! I might get this book just to look at the art. :)

Next to the cover, there should be something that says "free sample". Maybe it's only available for people in the US, though. If it is, I'll try and save the pics and post them here.

Wow, you weren't kidding, there really is a ton of stock art. Super lazy. The Little Golden Book (Krabby Patty Caper) is nice though. They have a few other LGB's in that style and I've always liked it.

The book was GREAT can't wait for the movie itself. I'm not going to spoil anything for anyone. But the Photo Booth Time Machine (Mega Bloks Set) does take place in the movie, so it's not a useless set. The CGI parts of the movie takes place at the end (about 20-30 pages) so it's more of a animation movie. If you have any questions about the book i will be happy to answer them. :)

If the movie is 100% like the book, how will it be compared to the original.

Do you mean 2004- The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie? Because if so in my opinion it's 25% Better mainly because the first movie was already awesome! In the first movie SpongeBob tries to stop Plankton, But in this new movie he teams up with Plankton in Plankton Quotes "Tee-am Work." (Team Work).
