This season is such a downgrade from what we had in 9B, it's pretty disappointing honestly.
 
The crew is trying to experiment. How is that disappointing?

Yet season 9B did much better. So far season 10 hasn't impressed me. The only season 10 episode I liked was SpongeBob's Place.

-I originally gave Plankton Retires a positive review on the discussion page, but after rewatch, It's just a little boring at some points, but has a really funny ending, so it's on the lighter side of ScumBob.
-The Getaway, see above, but with Meh.
-This Season is pretty good! Let's hope Season 11 is even better!

Disappointing because it's not very good. Just because they're experimenting doesn't make it good. And it doesn't make it bad either, just boring, uninteresting, full of filler and dumb plots, then trying way too hard to be random, etc.

But I do respect they are trying something new. Hopefully some of these elements will be toned down in season 11.

I'll rate this on an A+ to F scale.

·Whirlybrains - C - A very weird plot but it was occasionally funny.

·Mermaid Pants - A+ - Excellent plot, hilarious, nice atmosphere.

·Unreal Estate - A+ - Excellent plot, nice atmosphere, and hilarious. I love the "What If" segments of the theme song and Spongebob's different homes.

·Code Yellow - B+ - Good plot, funny, nice atmosphere.

·Mimic Madness - C+ - Very weird plot but occasionally funny.

·House Worming - D+ - Prickles was kinda annoying and there should never be a separate segment for a charecter that has never been seen on the show before. Also, the plot is way too familiar to Jellyfish Jam.

·Snooze You Lose- C+ - The beggining and ending was funny but Spongebob and Patrick inside Squidward was very creepy but at least they were trying to help him and not torture him.

·Krusty Katering- A+ - Best episode of this season so far. Excellent plot, hilarious and nice atmosphere.

·Spongebob's Place - A - Hilarious, great plot and nice atmosphere. However, this would've gotten an A+ if it wasn't for Squidward and the customers singing.

·Plankton Gets The Boot - B - Good plot but was kinda weak.

·Life Insurance - B+ - Has a good plot and was pretty funny but I thought Mr. Krab's role wasn't that great.

·Burst Your Bubble - A+ - Had a very creative plot and was very funny.

·Plankton Retires - B+ - Great plot, funny, and nice atmosphere. The ending was a little weird however.

·Trident Trouble - B - Was funny and had a great plot but the Greek Chorus got a little annoying after a while.

·The Incredible Shrinking Sponge - B+ - Great plot, occasionally funny, nice atmosphere.

·Sportz? - A+ - Hilarious, great plot, nice atmosphere.

·The Getaway - A+ - A lot of action and was funny throughout the whole episode. Also has an excellent plot and a nice atmosphere.

·Lost And Found - B+ - Good plot and a very interesting setting but it wasn't that funny.

·Patrick's Coupon - C - The story was just all over the place but it was pretty funny I guess.

·Out Of The Picture - A+ - Hilarious, great story and nice atmosphere. I love how they brought back Rock Bottom!

·Feral Friends - B+ - Great story, occasionally funny, good atmosphere.

·Don't Wake Patrick - A- - Good plot and funny.

Overall, I give this season a B+. I liked a lot of the original ideas that the crew came up with and there were a ton of laugh-out-loud moments this season. However, the too-cartoony facial expressions got very old after a while and some of the writing was a little weak. But overall, I thought that this was a pretty good season.
 
I heard some people liked this season, but I never watched it before. I haven't watched this yet, because I had no way to watch SpongeBob. I have no TV or computer to watch the season. I feel like I'm the only here who hasn't watched it yet and I would like to see if there's something interesting in this season.

It's kinda stange season so far. Many episodes are hit or miss, but fortunately, misses are not so bad, and hits are very good.

My main problem with this season is major focus on slapstick and visual humor. To my mind, Spongebob was never slapstick-oriented show. Slapstick is only funny, when it's not too disgusting of painful. Unfortunately, this show often forgets about this rule even in it's early years.
So far. 11 season seems more in line with "Mimic Madness" style of episodes, that manages balance visuals, dialogue and story-telling.
I just hope that Vincent Waller and his crew learned from this season what works and what doesn't. :)
 
The opening pair of this season was very enjoyable in my opinion. Unfortunately but also fortunately I still have to watch the rest of the season, as none of the other episodes have aired in my country yet.
I prefer Mermaid Pants, if anyone wants to know.
 
I wonder when the new episodes will air.
