In the brand-new 30-minute special of Nickelodeon's Emmy-nominated original animated series (NickToon) "Sanjay and Craig", Snoop Dogg guest stars as Street Dogg, a rap icon who moves in next door to Sanjay and Craig in Lundgren. Street Dogg is a cool, funny, friendly guy who is always eager to rhyme with the kids. He's come to town to escape the bright lights of LA, chill out, make some new music and live a quiet suburban life. During the special, Sanjay and Craig discover that Street Dogg was once part of a rap duo with none other than Remington Tufflips, the boys' action-movie idol. They set out to reunite the former pair, but their failed efforts only lead to a town divided - and the mother of all epic rap battles!

"Snoop learned the material on the spot -- and blew our minds," says show creator Jim Dirschberger. "He owned the material and expanded on dialog and musical numbers. He's an excellent actor with a great sense of humor. Best of all, he is a kid at heart." Lyrics in the new tune include "This place feels like a nice change of pace/ See on my block it's all about cars and gold chains."

TBH I haven't seen the last couple of episodes, so I'm a bit behind. I will try to check out the Snoop Dogg episode though.

Sunday, July 12: "Nickelodeon Animation featuring 'Sanjay and Craig' – Noiice!" panel featuring a live table read followed by a Q&A with creators and co-executive producers Jim Dirschberger and Jay Howell, and voice actors Chris Hardwick, Maulik Pancholy, Matt Jones and special guests. The panel will be moderated by Claudia Spinelli, Nickelodeon's VP of current series animation, and will include sneak peeks for "Sanjay and Craig" and "Harvey Beaks," plus previews of new shows "Pig Goat Banana Cricket" and "The Loud House."

I saw the Street Dogg episode a few days ago and it's my favorite episode of the show due to liking Snoop Dogg's work.
 
Just saw the Snoop Dogg episode. It was pretty good, and the raps were very humorous. It was an overused plot, but still kept me entertained nonetheless.

Call me crazy but the show has been improving ever since Cup of Universe episode. I haven't seen all season 2 episodes but from what I saw Iiked all of them, except for Barfy's Babies. The show has gotten less gross and more imaginative IMO.


Favorite episodes? Dream Rangers, Day of the Snake, A Tale of Two Slithers, Ghost Pool, Butts Up (It's not filled with butt jokes, don't worry), Alien Craig, Street Dogg
 
In King of Kids, a character breaks the 4th wall.

He says "It's as if you had your own show" and then winks to the camera. XD

When did you last watch an episode?

As in season 2, the show improved loads. There are hardly any fart jokes.
