As you can see Season 6 is a mixed bag IMO. It's a mix of terrible and good episodes.

There's one thing though. I don't get why Overbooked is getting prasied so much lately. I do like this episode too (a little) but why It's so amazing?

I'm sorry I like watching characters slowly lose their sanity (except for Squid's Visit)

The Original Fry Cook- Bad (Previously: Meh) (I hated how SpongeBob was treated horribly!)

Night Light- Good (I don’t understand the hate this episode gets)

Whatever Happened to SpongeBob?- Good (Why do people dislike this one?! I love it!!!)

The Two Faces of Squidward- Good (OVERRATED though)

SpongeHenge- Good (REALLY weird and uncanny, but still surprisingly good. I’m pretty sure the ending is supposed to be non-canon.)

Banned in Bikini Bottom- AMAZING (Underrated episode. I actually LOVE this one a lot!)

Stanley S. Squarepants seems to be an episode that a lot of people really hate. Out of all the times I've watched it, can't say I was really bothered by it that much but I'll probably watch it again soon. I've never seen Battle in Bikini Bottom but I haven't heard good things about it at all.

What did you think of Pieguy's Season 4 video by the way? Don't exactly agree with all the mehs that season got from him but he still did a good job explaining what he liked from each episode.
 
I think More_SpongeBob_Sandy is the only one who hates The Inmates of Summer and I still don't understand. I love that episode as well. By the way, people hate WhoBob WhatPants (Whatever Happened to SpongeBob) because SpongeBob was treated badly, Squidward was a jerk and the special is rushed. I don't hate that one but It's definetly a mediocre episode.
 
Oh, I decided my rating on Atlantis SquarePantis. Yeah, it's on my Bottom 5 now. Sorry.

For The Inmates of Summer, the episode is around a very bad premise. It starts when SpongeBob goes on a boat to summer camp. Well, last time I checked, HE IS A LEGAL ADULT! Then Patrick childishly comes in. Also, SpongeBob's obliviousness to the fact they went on the wrong boat really bothered me. Can he see? There isn't some kind of security check, doesn't the general recognize he's not in an inmate? A lot of the episode is just the general torturing SpongeBob and, with his optimistic attitude, always doesn't get it. Did it have funny jokes? Yes.

"I prefer to re-cycle."

That's one of them. The episode is actually full of them. But yet again so is Pet Sitter Pat, which was worse. Yeah, you can have good jokes, but PLEASE put them around a good plot. And the design for SpongeBob and Patrick filled with Chum was HIDEOUS. Why is SpongeBob even having fun? The paper joke was funny, but the ::dolphin noise:: song could fit on one page without question! Heck, it fit on one page on the SBM music section. Also, the song is just terrible. Okay, Patrick's instrumentals were funny, but the rest of it was EXTREMELY repetitive. And you know what, the inmates decide to use the play as a way to escape the prison on the boat, which stupidly was made of CARDBOARD!!! Also how could the camp leader SURVIVE rowing on a tiny raft? Ad the ending was just stupid. Why would the inmates think they COULD be SpongeBob, and really, did you have to end on lame macaroni art? And then what? They wanted to go to Sun Fun Island, and they say THEY LIKED THE PRISON BETTER!!! And they annoyingly cry. Yes, it was a kinda funny episode, but yet again, it centered around a TERRIBLE premise. My main problem is not that it's my sister's favorite episode, (I can remember the first episode I watched, I'm POSITIVE that my hatred had absolutely NOTHING to do with that fact, she told me AFTER I first saw the episode and hated it) the problem is that it's as CHILDISH as hell. Heck, even I didn't like it at that age. I thought SpongeBob was meant for ALL ages, because here they didn't even TRY doing that. Yet again, SpongeBob being an ADULT, and an oblivious one at that, was another major problem. Long story short, the episode was FUNNY, but wrapped around a TERRIBLE premise.


Also, I think "Pest of the West" should be Amazing now.


I also disagree with Battle of Bikini Bottom, Stanley S. SquarePants, Whatever Happened to SpongeBob, and worst of all, TO LOVE A PATTY!!!


And I would put "Picture Day" on my best list IF I allowed less-than-10-minuters on the list. But I did the same by taking "Boat Smarts" off the worst list for that, so.

Okay, THAT'S why I hate the episode. And I rewatched it this week. I don't hate it as much (TLaP and Atlantis SquarePantis were FAR worse), but I still hate it.

I think its weird Season 2 is SpongeDevotee's favorite but Season 3 has more amazing episodes and his favorite episode. So shouldn't Season 3 be his favorite?

Maybe it has more good episodes overall, but yeah it'd make sense for that to be his favourite season.

Finally!!! Here is my Season 6 ratings! I have been looking forward to rating this season, and here it is! Note that this is the first season of SpongeBob that I truly hate.

House Fancy- Bad (I hated SpongeBob in this one, the episode was boring, and how can I possibly enjoy an episode that has that toenail scene!)

Krabby Road- Good

Penny Foolish- Good (I found Mr. Krabs’ penny obsession really humorous and silly! I don’t get the episode’s hate. Oh, and that scene where the moon “turns into” a penny was priceless!)

Nautical Novice- Good (Okay, the ending did suck, but the rest of the episode makes up for it. And let’s assume that SpongeBob did do all of that, but the man thought that he was the one controlling the boat, even though it was really SpongeBob.)

Spongicus- Meh

Suction Cup Symphony- Meh

Not Normal- AMAZING (I enjoyed this one a lot. Pretty neat concept.)

Gone- AMAZING (FAVORITE EPISODE OF SEASON 6) (I know that many people HATE this episode because of the ending, but I never was bothered by the ending AT ALL. Sorry. And I LOVE the rest of the episode.)

The Splinter- Good (The episode is actually good. No one gives it a chance because they are apparently too grossed-out by the splinter.)

Slide Whistle Stooges- Good (Kinda funny. And I like Squidward’s involvement to SpongeBob and Patrick’s fun, sort of like Snowball Effect and Idiot Box. But the ending was not that great, though.)

A Life in a Day- AMAZING (Livin’ like Larry!!!)

Sun Bleached- AMAZING (Pretty funny episode. I enjoy it a lot.)

Giant Squidward- Bad

No Nose Knows- Bad

Patty Caper- Meh

Plankton's Regular- Good (I found it kinda decent.)

Boating Buddies- Bad (MY LEAST FAVORITE SPONGEBOB EPISODE EVER!!!)

The Krabby Kronicle- AMAZING (I love this episode. People do hate Mr. Krabs in it though, but hey, he DID get his comeuppance.)

The Slumber Party- Meh

SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One- Meh

Grandpappy the Pirate- Meh (Way to ignore continuity!)

Squid's Visit- Meh (I thought it was okay-ish enough to not be Bad. And SpongeBob’s not creepy, he’s just good at paying attention to detail.)

To SquarePants or Not to SquarePants- Good

Shuffleboarding- Good (Never understood its hate. It’s pretty much like Sandy’s Rocket.)

Professor Squidward- Bad (Such an AWFUL episode!!! SpongeBob and Patrick were so unlikable! And Squidward being tortured was beyond annoying!)

Pet or Pests- Bad

Komputer Overload- Meh

Gullible Pants- Bad (ONE OF THE WORST SPONGEBOB EPISODES EVER!!! SpongeBob acted like a total dumb a**, and Squidward was beyond a jerk! And he had no comeuppance at all!)

Overbooked- AMAZING (I really liked it. Very simple, but awesome, plot.)

No Hat for Pat- Meh

Toy Store of Doom- Good

Sand Castles in the Sand- AMAZING (Funny and amazing!!!)

Shell Shocked- Good

Chum Bucket Supreme- AMAZING (A REALLY GOOD EPISODE! Chum is fum! And that scene with SpongeBob going through the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and the subsequent slideshow scene, were COMPLETELY AWESOME!!!)

Single Cell Anniversary- AMAZING (One of the best Plankton/Karen and Plankton/SpongeBob episodes.)

Truth or Square- Good (But not amazing.)

Pineapple Fever- Bad (Squidward + SpongeBob and Patrick = HORRIBLE EPISODE! Especially in this season! It actually works well to be FUNNY in episodes like Good Neighbors and Club SpongeBob though.)

Chum Caverns- Meh

The Clash of Triton- Meh (Never found it to be THAT bad though.)

As you can see, there are A LOT of Mehs and Bads. There’s only a few that I actually love. And what’s interesting is that there a couple of episodes that almost EVERYONE hates, but I ACTUALLY like. Very interesting. Feel free to ask me why I like these certain episodes, and you could try your best to persuade me to change my opinion. I might consider your opinion, if I legitely agree with you.

HOW is Shuffleboarding like Sandys rocket? Spongebob and Patrick are way dumber, and someone elder is punished for their crimes.
 
Shuffleboarding is just the most poorly written episode of the season which is why I hate it so much. If it didn't have like two different plots and wasn't so confusing in story structure and didn't have that ending, I think it would have been more tolerable but something really must have gone wrong when that premise got produced. Can't put my finger on it. Maybe bad story editing or something. I've really come to think that good story editing could have made a difference in some of these episodes and making sure that they make sense.
