I like the classic splash logo better.

The 'splat' logo was a reference to the slime on the old Double Dare series. Now that the game doesn't exist anymore, it doesn't seem to make sense to keep the logo. Nicktoons network still has a semblance of the splat logo, though.

I don't care if the game is there or not. That's the classic logo that I remember. It should remain as such. Either that logo or these other classic logo's will be fine with me.

As much as I like the previous logos, I like that this new logo honors the orange color of the current logo, while the dotted "i" and shortened "k" honors the pinball logo, while introducing some web2.0 styled elements like lowercase letters to the logo. I think this new logo is a mix of the past, present and future. I guess this was a decision made by some long-time Nickelodeon executives, including Cyma Zarghami, Nickelodeon's president, to go with a logo that better reflects or generation.

On a side note, the TV rating icons on Nickelodeon and its sister networks are now translucent white, with the letters and numbers cut out.
