It looks like it's getting a resurgence in popularity around here again.
So, I've got some things to show everybody about it...

I don't know about the non-PC platforms of it, but back in late 2012/early-to-mid 2013, me and my two friends, CDK and BG, did a lot of random projects together.

My favorites of them were two things.

The first was a massive redstone-operated Fire Charge-launching dispenser-cannon platform we built on Nov. 22, 2012. It was built on an obsidian/sandstone platform hovering high up in the sky. First it started out as a few sets of dispensers scattered on one side of the platform.

But it grew bigger eventually. We added a 12x4 wall battery of dispensers, which were a pain to load, along with a new and improved safe room designed to resemble a house (and because of that, I later used that design as a basis for some of my houses).

I had recordings after these improvements, but my PC accidentally deleted them. I managed to save a few screenshots of each of them.

I made a good few replicas of this platform on my singleplayer worlds. I could always upload one.

We eventually destroyed the original battery/platform with TNT and lava after getting bored, though...

The second project (Jan. 2nd, 2013) was a huge prison complex made at the shoreline of a desert, and I made a sand house nearby. BG built most of it, but me and CDK made a few contributions.

I also made a near-exact replica of it (it was on another floating sky platform, so the automated redstone wall door couldn't be built due to not having enough ground beneath to wire it) after the server closed. I could upload that world if anybody is interested.

I really enjoy Minecraft. It's a lot different than other games because of the constant updates and huge community that surrounds it.
I actually hardly ever get a chance to play the game anymore, but I keep up with the updates very actively. I'm a vanilla survival type of person myself. I don't play much because when I start a server with friends it usually dies out quickly, and playing alone isn't very fun. Would love to have a big SBM server or something, but I doubt it would be very active. Not a lot of people were interested last time I asked.

Do you know of any flat seeds for Pocket Edition?
 
I didn't like it much at first but abney set up a server and I played it with him (or, should that be, he teached me how to play it lol). It can be fun but also very tedious. It's obviously much more fun playing with friends than on your own, especially over Xbox Live where you can talk to your friends through the headset and all kinds of crazy shiz happens, although I prefer using a computer and mouse (and being closer to the screen).

abney tried setting up a server again recently but it died out unfortunately. Really unfortunate because we (or should I say he lol) built some really cool stuff and we'd only really scratched the surface, but we had to start it over again. Oh well.

It would be great if there was a SBM server because I could dip in and out and not feel bad for missing out consecutive days, as it was playing with just abney.
 
I Like Minecraft also I am mostly a survival player but the community can sometimes annoy me
 
Whenever I get bored or feel like procrastinating I bring up this saved file. The other day I realised just how much I've done

Haha how could you tell it was the Golden Arches from that angle? xD I didn't build a McDonalds but yes for some reason I built a huge golden arches sign. No idea why. I must have been hungry at the time.

Do it! I would play regularly!
I like vanilla survival more than modded as well, although I do like minimaps!
