Another season 3 episode falls. As a Sport Coach once said, " Don't tell me you have kittens, if they're inside an opened sack". I'm sure you will NEVER understand that, so we should get along. There are 2 things that ruin this fairly good episode. Patchy, and SpongeBob abuse. As much as I love Tom Kenny's work, Patchy is a terrible character, in my opinion. Sometimes he's funny, but other times, he's just trying to be hilarious, and ended up like 'Karate Island'. And as I already explained before, cwn, I hate abusive episode. I feel for the ones getting assaulted. Squiddy, Bobby, Plankton, and even Sandster, all of them are victims of mockeries in this show. That's why I'm sick of Pat and Krabs's 'lucky charm'. But as annoying as it is, it's still pretty nice. And you can't doubt on that. Probably should be higher, but this is my opinion only

Ah, The Loop de Loop song. Catchy, cool, funky at the same time. And the exact song that told me how to tie a knot. It's a good episode, but not good enough to win my heart. But still, a good episode. Dan Marino is in the episode if you didn't realise at first. Also, this is the first episode to have a TV-Y7 rating. Proof that's it the first 'mature' SB episode. But it's not good enough, as I said before, to make it out of the 90's. I don't know, I think it's not funny enough. Patrick isn't as golden as he will be in the entire season 2. Yes, there are some chuckling moments, but the rest was, well, meh.

Best Moment : The Kitchen bit.​

Best Character : Squidward​

This episode is as funny as it is annoying. Those yes-man Jelly Spotters, and that ::dolphin noise::, Kevin. I hate them. He looked like, Melvin Sneedly, and evil as hell. The way he treated SpongeBob is unfair. If I was in Booby's position, Kevin is now laying in a hospital, having nothing closer than a coma. The character is just horrible, and how he ended up black n' blue had always pleased me. However, Patrick in this episode, despite his lackluster showing time, is just pure gold. Jeffrey, and the touching never fails to crack me up. But there is one particular scene . . . . .

YellowSponge101, YOU'RE WRONG. This is actually a good episode. The reason I put it so low is because SpongeBob is heavily abused. I don't like it when certain characters are heavily abused. The reason why I hated Krabs, and Krabby Kronicle. I don't know, it just felt so wrong. However, this episode is quite funny. There are certain moments that made me chuckle to death. If only Squidward wasn't such a freeloader it would've been much higher on the list. But there's nothing I can do for that.

I understand how you said you would've put this episode higher on the list if it wasn't for Squidward's freeloading, but you then go on to say Squidward was the best character because of his freeloading. :confused: I don't know if it's just me, but a lot of your reasoning for the episodes on this list doesn't make sense.
 
I like this list so far, it's very honest. I also agree with your issue on character abuse, it doesn't ruin the episode for me, but it makes me feel wrong for watching it.

As for the next episode, I'm going to guess Dying for Pie, despite how much I love that episode.

Speaking of it. And now ladies and gentleman, I am going to make Mr. Willeeuhm perplexed. This is similar to "Can You Spare a Dime?" SpongeBob does something for the main character, and he got slammed for doing so. Except, this is funnier. Patrick is the villain, the arseh*le ( EAT THAT DOLPHIN CHIRPS! I FOUND THE 'star' BUTTON), The big ba*tard that abuse Spongy, playing Squidward's role. But he's the best character in the episode, why? Because he does the character perfectly. Like the late Heath Ledger, playing the villain/the abuser, but he's the best character in the movie. Simply, because he IS. Weird ain't it? I don't know how to explain it. But I hope you got the idea, Mr. Willeeuhm. Anyway, about the episode, well, a funnier version of CYSaD. Done . . .

I can connect to you on this whole "character abuse." I would've enjoyed some Squidward episodes a bit more (ex: Jellyfishing) if they didn't have so much Squidward abuse. Jellyfishing was a very funny episode, IMO, but Squidward got a jellyfishing net "firmly grasped" into his hand by Patrick, got soup all over him, and got stung by jellyfish.

Oh, yeah, speaking of lists, you're further through yours than mine, and I started mine about a year ago. :P

The start of this episode is very good, and nicely executed. At first I thought Krabs will lose his lucky charm. I was pretty pleased. The song, is just full of heart, brilliant, and lovely. But keep in mind, this is SpongeBob. There will be one vital moment, when Krabs gets his luck, again. Plankton's idea, wasn't very pleasing for me, from the start. We all know that Bobby, could suddenly be, from a happy-go-lucky, charming little bloke, to an arl arse, in just a blink of an eye. This episode, proves my point. At least the one, with Plankton's 'ad off.

A fairly good episode, this. Not much to brag about, except probably, THE best moment, of THE WHOLE SERIES. I don't know, how the heck did they thought about that. There's really nothing else, to talk about really. For a season 2 episode, well, not that bad. It serves you a classic, well putted up, episode. I'm sure you enjoyed the episode. Really is, a solid classic. Although, it lacks the shazzzaaammm feeling. You know. Not the best, they can come up, with. And Squidward is abusing, again.

Anyway, I would surprisingly rank Grandma's KIsses way higher. It just has a funny and interesting plot to me, plus it was very funny! I liked SB & Pat's personalities, too.
Oh, yeah, and for some reason my favorite part used to be Grandma Squarepants giving SpongeBob office supplies, perfect for an adult like SpongeBob, who wants sweaters with love in every stitch! :lol:

Ah, yes, the classic, Krabby Land. This is another episode, that lacks, the shazzaaam feeling. It never made me, excited. Every time it comes on, it just, well, comes on. Although, the plotting was great, I'll give it that, la'. This is probably, the first episode, where I started to think "Krabs, is a bad man eh'." I mean, who would do that to children, for the sake of freaking money. The truth, I won't. I mean it's just, evil. First time I watched it, I was foolishly excited. I wanted to know, what the clown looked like. It turns out, that it's a cheapskate motherf*cker, with a painted-blue tomato for a nose, and a tie. With his voice squeaked. I don't know, if you guys felt the same, but I was disappointed. ::dolphin noise:: you, Eugene. And the SpongeBob getting destroyed, bit. It was a bit harsh, but funny as hell. I almost felt sorry, for Bobby. And realised, how much I've been a bad boy to my parents, If they do feel what SpongeBob felt. I mean as a kid, you know I . . . .

You have a good point about Krabby Land. Although I do like some parts, it has never really been one of my favorites. Like you said, it never made me excited.

This has been a great list so far, I can't wait to see which episode you place next.
