How old would you say Squidward is?

Exactly what it says on the tin.

How old would you say Squidward is? 40s? 50s? 65 or older? This is something that has been bugging me for a while now, and would like to hear your theories.
 
I looked it up it says squid/octopus live to be 3-5 years old and since he is old old old i will say he is 5 years old!!!!!!! :sbthumbs:
 
late thirties-very early forties. somewhere right in the middle between spongebob's age and mr krabs' age.

And sponges can live to be obscenely old. Wouldn't it be ironic if Spongebob were actually older than Squidward?

These sound most reasonable to me.
 
He was born in 9th october 1977 (according to "anyone can edit" SB wiki). so he is 38
 
He's been working at the KK for twenty years according to Sweet and Sour Squid. He might have started when he was a teenager there so mid 30's-early 40's?

No where in the show does this confirm this. I wouldn't take any information from the wiki that's new unless it was from an episode or an official SB book.
