OK, we’re incredibly excited for Butch Hartman that The Fairly OddParents is nominated for the 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards as Outstanding Children’s Animated Program (the winners will be announced April 26). And we’re equally thrilled there are going to be brand new episodes in 2015.
But how wild is it that the first short debuted as part of Frederator’s cartoon incubator series Oh Yeah! Cartoons in September 1998 –17 years ago!– and the first full episode was in March 2001. What an amazing run! One of the best in the history of cartoons. Go Butch!

All episodes of season 9 have been aired so this must mean season 10!

I don't usually like cartoons that much, but I actually don't mind this one for some reason (especially the earlier seasons). It started getting weird after they brought the baby fairy into it though (which admittedly was quite a while ago). Good for them; it'll probably be one of the last seasons.
