Guys, just because nothing has happened in the show, doesn't mean Spongey and Sandy aren't meant for each other. They are meant for each other. I knew it from the moment I first saw her in "Tea at the Treedome".

And if you read "SpongeBob Survival Guide," there's a part about "Surviving a secret crush" written by "SpongeBob." That page sorta tells you he has a crush on her.

Thinking that SB and Sandy love each other is a bit silly, because in most shows most people seem to always think the main male character and the main female character like each other, when they don't.

Sandy is the only female SpongeBob hangs out with. That's why SpongeBob called Sandy the smartest and prettiest. I mean, c'mon! Patrick isn't smart, and SpongeBob wouldn't call him pretty! But i say Sandy is SpongeBob's second closest friend. But of course, Sponge and Pat give gifts to each other every year.
Of course SB and Sandy like each other, just not like like or love.

Of COURSE they LIKE each other, but only as friends, when I said "like" there I meant "love"
It was the same with the beggining of Season 4, but Sandy started appearing again.
