Main Series: Pokemon Crystal (Have not tried HGSS yet, so I ought to do that sometime soon)
Spin-Offs: The Pokemon Ranger trilogy is pretty sick. Only played the first, but I'm starting with the second game.
 
Might as well try and revive this thread.

Rank the different generations (Remakes count as the original generation that their original games came from (Ex. HGSS is Gen 2))

9. Gen 8 (The only one I truly don't like. It's hollow)
8. Gen 7 (ik this is pretty low, but this gen has some bad aspects to me.)
7. Gen 1 (Yes, very controversial. Gen 1 has just aged on top of it being a bit too simple.)
6. Gen 3 (Another controversial ranking. I haven't played much Gen 3, that's my excuse.)
5. Gen 6 (My guilty pleasure of the series.)
4. Gen 5 (I used to really like this gen, but my linking has waned over the years)
3. Gen 9 (Probably yet another controversial ranking. SV legit got here due to its story alone. If it weren't for its story, it would probably be at number 8 or 9)
2. Gen 4 (Very awesome games. The difficulty isn't too bad from my experience tho, but then again I do tend to grind more than others)
1. Gen 2 (Best gen imo. The only one to actually have multiple regions, which is something that I think could be tried again tbh.)
