I've noticed that modern Spongebob has thicker lines than markerbob does.

However, markerbob still looks like it was drawn with markers, which is why I gave it the name.
I still feel like modern SpongeBob would be markerbob in the "sharpie" kind of way, while Old SpongeBob would be markerbob in the "crayola" kind of way.

SpongeBob's eyes are smaller than usual in these screenshots in Pat Hearts Squid... in the first image he looks like his Season 8 design?

Marker Sandy looks more modern

Pranks a Lot was also the only time we see Sandy without her suit in season 3, unless you count the markerbob segment in Party Pooper Pants. It’s also the only markerbob episode that takes place in her treedome. Pressure is the only other markerbob episode we see Sandy without her suit.

All of these inconsistencies in design are all down to storyboard artists’ varying styles.

Something weird about the Paul Rudish Mickey Mouse cartoons… I don’t think many people noticed this, but in the episodes made by Eddie Trigueros, Mickey’s mouth gets like 10 times bigger and gets weird cheeks.

Another thing of notice is that Mickey got way louder throughout the series. If you listen to his voice in Season 1, it’s really not too different from Mickey’s normal voice. But if you watch anything after around mid-Season 2, his voice becomes really loud and he shouts a lot. Funny enough, this coincides with Eddie Trigueros joining the show.
