I had no problems with Squidward in this episode. Considering Spongebob almost killed him, I understand why he would issue a restraining order. Plus, he dealt with Patrick's stupidity for the rest of the episode.

Still, it doesn't excuse this episode for having HORRIBLE HUMOR, AN OBVIOUS PLOT DEVICE, AND USING PATRICK TO BE A CREEP AND ANNOY SQUIDWARD.

I love this episode. Seriously, I do. It's actually a really good idea that Squidward gives SpongeBob a restraining order, even though the idea has been done before. Sure, Squidward got hurt a lot at the beginning but they needed that to make the plot work, although Squidward getting fried and one of the customers accidentally biting him was an uncomfortable scene. There are a lot hilarious scenes like "Can I walk with you? Please" scene (It only lasted 20 seconds, so I don't really consider it as an annoying filler) and there's also the part with Squidward panicking at SpongeBob after he got hurt. Patrick was also really hilarious here. I actually laughed at a lot when he kept stalking Squidward. His performance in this episode was priceless and I loved the scene with Patrick and Squidward fighting to each other. The only things that I don't like in this episode are the fart joke (too immature) and Squidward hitting on the seaberry pie, which was unnecessary. I can understand why a lot people hate this episode but I find this episode really amusing. 8.5/10

While I liked the callback to New Student Starfish and Squids line of how long the customer was gonna live, the rest of the episode is just a mess. Patrick is just brain dead here. He just doesn't have a bit of common sense AT ALL. This is definitely one of Patrick's worst appearances. Spongebob wasn't as bad here though, he was still annoying but actually apologized to Squid. And this episode is a Squid Torture ::dolphin noise::, to the point where Squid goes crazy. This episode was just hard to watch and frustrating. 1/10

Season: 8

Episode: Restraining Spongebob

This episode was terrible. The plot was really bland. Spongebob was close to his original personality here, but that didn't make the episode good. I felt so bad for Squidward, and the undeserved abuse was so forced. Patrick was flanderized here to the point he acted like a toddler. There were one or two funny jokes. 3/10
 
My least favorite episode of the entire show. Surprised this one doesn't get more hate. I really hate Patrick in this episode. He can't give Squidward a break in this.
 
I think this episode is better than some of the hate it has received. I liked this episode, and I didn't think it was as bad as some of the really bad ones, in my opinion.

I like this episode...:P Finally Squidward did something to SpongeBob...but then Patrick came :P that made the episode even funnier...
There were some good quotes...I am giving it a 9/10

Great another Squidward Torture episode mixed with Patjerk, however this one is better than SJABB it's not that much better. The beginning starts off with SpongeBob being his typical annoying loud song with his stupid Season 6 cheeks (I hate them so much) and then SpongeBob continuously bothers Squidward for the next minute until Squid decides to issue a restraining order on the annoying creature and like Squidward himself quoted he should've done it a long time ago. After not being able to be in close proximity of Squidward, Patrick shows up whoopee... this is where the episode starts to get really irritating. Patrick is constantly bugging Squidward while doing a stupid little giggle while Squidward keeps yelling Patrick's name which gets really repetitive and annoying but it does come up with quite a funny moment with Patrick in the mirror. Then after getting an allergic reaction to seaberries Squidward starts fighting with Patrick which gets SpongeBob to break up the fight and then it ends with Squidward giving the restraining order to Patrick instead. Now I will admit this episode does come with positives, as I mentioned I liked the mirror jokes, I liked the designs and names of the lawyers and SpongeBob got alright towards the end but it wasn't enough to redeem himself. Overall this episode just managed to make a really frustrating Squid Torture episode and it was a pain to sit through.
