well can't blame you for liking the songs (if you could even call them that) i guess they have SOME redeeming qualities unlike OTHER Songs (I love krabby patties from banned in bikini bottom)

That's a good insight! This musical-like episode focus more on character building via songs but leaves drawback in storytelling. However some settings indicates this episode has more positive meaning on it:

1.The bus fuels "songs". What a good way to enables the intrinsic ability for kids.

2.Altantic song sequence : Mr.krabs(Money)->Sandy(Science)->Plankton(War)->Squidward(Fine Arts) . Different variety of the pursuit, Art is one of the highest.

3.Sandy ultilize every member's power to get rid of the attack. Teamwork matters.

3.When leaving, only Spongebob faces toward Bikini Botton while others faced Altantic. Conveying a positive attitude of facing real life.

I started to watch Spongebob in 2008. This episode is the very first episode I viewed from a book. Though many years passed. This one is my favourite!
