In Noah (Lego) Spongy's newest editorial video, he talks about the SpongeBob fanbase and some of the annoying things they do, and at 3:55 in the video he mentions how some people asked Vincent Waller if there could be crossovers, and the one that he shows is a person asking for a freaking LOUD HOUSE CROSSOVER.

I mean look, I sent a crossover art tweet to Vincent Waller and Winston Steinburger creator Mike Geiger, but I didn't ask for them to make a crossover (me saying that it'd be cool to see them meet was kind of dumb, but I didn't mean it in that they should make it of course), I just thought they'd like to see the Squidward/Sir Dudley Ding Dong art I made. :P

Okay I'm getting a little off topic, but the reason I made this topic is because I was chatting to Noah on Twitter about the video and how I made a joke saying that a "SpongeBob/Loud House crossover" sounds more cringey than my crossover ideas. And then when I searched "SpongeBob loud house" on twitter, I found a PETITION for this crossover to happen.

And the worst part is, it HAS 200 SIGNATURES...

I mean, that's like one of the most dumb crossover ideas you can ever do, like I don't see how it'll work out, but I fear since The Loud House is kind of popular, and it seems like anything is possible these days, that it would happen one day.

I'm probably overreacting but just wanted to point out that this would be a horrible idea and I don't know why there's actually hundreds of people out there who want this to happen.

I said it before, SpongeBob is not a cartoon made for crossovers.
 
it has to be potential, but i'll not work as crossover even Loud House beats SB over a silly tv ratings.
 
I always thought that those stupid squidward/sir dudley crossovers were worse
Well, SpongeBob isn't really a cartoon made for crossovers anyway.

I think I even saw once confirmation that Stephen Hillenburg doesn't want SpongeBob doing crossovers.
 
Eh, people can headcanon and crossover whatever they like but I agree that it probably shouldn't be canon. SpongeBob is underwater so matching him up with a show wouldn't really work. If he hasn't had a crossover from all the years he's been on air, then why start now? But again, if it's non-canon, then it doesn't matter.

Agreed big time. I don't want a crossover, period, but if it was considered an actual episode of the show, that would be bad. Very bad.
 
The only cross over I could see SpongeBob working with is maybe Fish Hooks, but that shows been long dead and it's not really that great either. So that'll never happen.
 
Don't worry, it will never happen. 200 signatures is not enough to convince Nick.
