As many of you know, almost every phrase from Seasons 1-3 has become a meme. But some seasons are, unfortunately, skipped. Even for 1-3 seasons, some jokes are forgotten. So, what do you think are the clever jokes which are, sadly, isn't the thing people talk about.

For me, it's this scene from "The Sponge Who Could Fly". Say what you will about the "Walk Cycle" or songs or even "Remembering SpongeBob", but it MADE the episode for me. I like out-of-the-box moments like these.

Patchy: Hey, Potty! I think I hit something! (a chest is actually on the ground the whole time) Clever. Bury your treasure above the surface.
Patchy opens a treasure chest, a miner pops out and hands him a tape
Patchy: I don't know what it means either.
He then SLAMS the chest with very appopriate sound effect
Patchy: But I got what I came for!

I think most of the patchy scenes in "The Sponge Who Could Fly" ate underrated.

Doesn't count - it's actually popular.

From "20,000 Patties Under the Sea", there are some scenes that should have been the classic ones, if it wasn't for some people's hate.

Sea Monster: I've been asleep for 79 years, which means my last meal was 79 years ago.

And, of course, the scene where Plankton argues with a whole family.

I think he meant it ironically or something.

"Why don't you ask me later?"

The scene from I Heart Dancing where Squidward has a tantrum and crashes through the floor and Spongebob copies him. My little sisters think it's hilarious.

The scene from The Smoking Peanut where Spongebob confesses and Patrick hums dramatically in the background.

The scene from Bummer Vacation where Spongebob plays with the official Krusty Krab Playset, and then plays with the playset-in-a-playset.
