Well, background character, are that character that appears in almost every episode, but they usually are just there, don't say anything, just eat krabby patties, enjoy a good time in the beach, etc.
So, no main characters: SpongeBob, Sandy, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Gary.
No recurring characters: Pearl, Mrs. Puff, Larry, Harold, Margaret, etc
No "special" characters: Stanley SquarePants, etc
And two of these background character will be excluded, because, they're famous already: Tom and Fred.
So, do you have one? If possible, post a picture of him/her.
There is a fish that I really like, one big appearence of her is in Ripped Pants.
