It's still a month away, but what are your opinions? From what I've seen, they've got me interested. Someone mentioned it looks like a mixture of Gravity Falls, the Miyazaki films and Lord of the Rings, and the resemblance does give it a unique vibe.

this doesn't look promising,it would have been better in the 1970's or the 1980's or the 1990's.

This looks pretty good. Knowing CN lately, I have high hopes, plus Pat McHale and Nate Cash are working on it. ;)

That animation though.

Oh god the animation is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. I mean, for a show made for TV, and Cartoon Network, no less, this animation is just damn good. Maybe a little too good. And yes, everything else is making me hyped up for this show. Let's hope it's amazing.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks similar to this?

I just watch the first few episodes...

and I'm really digging this. It has a nice mix of whimsy and creepy, and it has a charmingly unsettling atmosphere. Plus I love the Autumn/Halloween vibes.

Shameless self bump to remind myself to write a full review of this show. After watching all ten episodes, I don't think I've held this much admiration to any other cartoon ever.

I love love love this show <3 . Love the dark, creepy vibes. Also love how Elijah Wood plays Wirt. Just everything about this show is spot on. Best show on CN at the moment, heck, maybe of all time.

It was a pretty solid mini series. It was sad near the end when I saw Greg turn into a tree, and I did see many Fanart on DeviantART that showed Wirt and Greg venturing and suffering. It's basically one of the most good CN shows to debut along with SU and Clarence.
