I second that. More hilarity, more creative plots, more good animation, and more fun dialog. I also want to see the return of certain characters and locations that haven't show up in a while, like Squilvia and Rock Bottom.Spongeo said:What do you expect or want in Season 10? I have been thinking and it could go either way I want to see is something more like the old seasons.
I remember being annoyed by Sandy's lack of screen time. It seemed like whenever she did appear, she wouldn't be there for long or is was something science related. I don't dislike that aspect of her, but it started to outweigh her karate/adventurous side, what she was mainly known for in the earlier Seasons.BubbleBud said:2. More Sandy moments and showcase the karate aspect of it more.
Yes, please! I know Mr. Krabs is supposed to be cheap, and it's supposed to be funny, but there have been times in the post-movie eps where I wanted to slap him in the face. :T4. Bring Mr. Krabs heart back. So that he would care more for others.
YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES.5. Hardly any of the stale ''Steal the Krabby Patties'' episodes and limited Krusty Krab episodes.
Yesssss, I miss his Tom Kenny glasses. xD I can't remember the last time he wore them. (I also miss him saying "I'm ready!" from time to time, I'm so glad they brought that back in Mooncation.) We don't need anymore moments with him randomly calling Squidward handsome or having the same IQ as Patrick.6. Make SpongeBob more nerdy than girlish. Ditch the weird aspect of him that he shows more now, which includes the overused pop-out pimples on his cheeks. Go back to the classic cheeks. SpongeBob needs to bring back the likable aspect of him. Not moments that make you cringe. He needs to act like he has a brain again, they dumbed him down quite a bit over the years.
This probably won't happen, but since the episodes are getting better, I don't mind. Derek Drymon does work on the SpongeBob Comics. You should check 'em out. c:8. Although impossible, replace Vincent Waller with Derek Drymon. Again... highly unlikely. Though, I do wish they would replace Vincent.
I wouldn't mind this at all, lol :pOh and I wouldn't mind seeing Rock Bottom again ether. And more... SPANDY moments! Seriously, when I watched it throughout Season 1 & 2, I felt they should of went out or something. Now, I don't think they should be in a relationship but it would be cool if they expressed romantic feelings for each other, in little ways. The fans would go crazy over those little things and it would just be awesome.
I'm glad we agree on a lot of the issues! :) And I don't mind his pimple cheeks, because he did it in the earlier seasons too... it's just they overuse them now. And it was indeed supposed to be big and poked-out at the start but they changed it. :p That was a rejected character design... and I'm kinda glad it was.SandTaro05 said:I don't mind the cheeks as long as they don't look too jarring...He cheeks were supposed to be pretty big and poked-out from the start:
Yes! I agree. I'm also not a fan of the droopy nose. I miss the glasses, they need to use it more, I agree.DadMom AngryPants said:Add me to the list of people who wants more nerdy SpongeBob. Or at least for them to tone down the effeminacy. His nerdiness was always one of the most likable aspects of his personality and one of the things I miss the most. It bothers me when, in a scene where he uses glasses for reading, they use those tiny rectangular ones. Or jellyfishing goggles (or even nothing at all) instead of the big black frames. His geek glasses did make a re-appearance in "Planet of the Jellyfish" so at least they're not gone forever, but I wish they would use them with consistency. He used to wear them every time he went jellyfishing. Sometimes it feels like they just forgot.

I want Plankton to win, and you think season 3 is the best? Well we all have our own opinions.Jibbix said:I'd like less Plankton and Krusty Krab episodes, yeah. But I kinda think this is as good as it's gonna get. We're so close to a Pre-movie level, and I don't think we can ever reach a level of Season 3 again. But I'll settle for close.

I love the continuity too, I always found it weird how they seemed to forget what previously happened in another episode. And yes, they should continue to improve. There aren't that many of my favorite post-movie episodes that feel classic to me. While I did enjoy them, I feel like they could go a little further.BubbleBud said:And yes, they should keep going with the continuity thing (I love it)... but they need to revert back on some things and make adjustments. They kind of messed up the continuity before Season 8, but it's getting better in that department. Now, is Season 9 on the same path as Season 3? Heck no. I'd say it's climbing back up to early Season 5, myself (I thought the early episodes of Season 5 were pretty good). Is that a bad thing? Not exactly... but they don't need to stop, they need to keep improving, because it's simply just not there yet. Plus, I thought Season 8 was a little better than Season 9, but not to my standard of liking the whole season, aside from a few episodes.
Ooooh! I saw (and enjoyed) that episode. I can't believe I didn't remember that. xD As for the droopy nose, it works sometimes for helping to convey emotion, but I remember there was a time where he seemed to be doing it too much... :TDadMom AngryPants said:Add me to the list of people who wants more nerdy SpongeBob. But the show has changed a lot from Seasons 4-Now even without Steve on. :PBig Meaty Claws said:Season 10 will probably be resiment of the last 2 seasons. Because, face it guys, Steve left, so the show isn't going to change much besides the fact that some newer writers will join and older writers will leave.
