This movie makes my blood boil, and it hasn't even came out yet! I'll discuss why later, becase I have many problems with this 2 MINUTE trailer. And no, the ridiculous plot isn't my main grope.

Is it the sexist stereotyping? i mean, the app that she's using is for dogs, so they're comparing males to dogs. Not humans, just boys/men.
Anyways, even disregarding the stupid-as-crap stereotyping, the moral is still one of the most cliche things a movie could ever "come up with". Heck, they just used the same moral in 16 Wishes!
 
I like the sound of it- I think it'd be a High School Musical-type movie, but it also has a really interesting-looking sci-fi element.

Pretty much. It has the worst implications of any movie that I've ever heard of (morals done by accident). What if the roles were switched? Our protagonist was male and he made women fall head over heels for him and all the other cliche stuff. That would cause a lot of controversy. But, hey! This is okay, because GIRL POWER (the movie would suck equally either way IMO).

And yeah, it was based on a book called Boys Are Dogs. -_-
 
At the doctor's office I got to watch another Disney "original" movie called Cloud 9 and it just felt like The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave which was better than that movie.

Anyway this movie...oh god. Disney needs to stop making crap like this and Teen Beach Movie.
 
Let's face it, Disney Channel hasn't had a good original movie in years. Their recent ones have been stereotypes and cliches galore with this appearing to be no exception.

You have a good point, but Gravity Falls and Wander Over Yonder have proven that this channel can still make it. That they still have some watchable, original programming. They still have some potential left. They just need to get their priorities straight.

Maybe they're trying to lower our expectations and have us surprised. Just maybe.


Also, just like every Disney Channel movie, it comes with a repetitive, upbeat pop song.

If anything, they've been doing stereotypes like these for years. Now, they're just trying to see how far they can go.
