Salutations my children, YakkoXSpongeBob here! For my second thread on SpongeBuddy Mania, I'll be counting down my top 20 least favorite SpongeBob episodes because I've got nothing better to do (with explanations, of course). One episode will be revealed per day as well as a hint for the next pile of steaming garbage, and that's basically it for this tedious garble of text. Let's commence with the first atrocity on our list.

#20: The Nitwitting

This is one of the most random and stupid episodes I have ever watched from not just SpongeBob, but any cartoon as a whole. Here, Patrick invites SpongeBob to a club where everyone "gives their powerful intellects a much-needed rest." That's euphemism for LITERALLY REMOVING YOUR BRAIN AND BEING DUMB ALL DAY. And to obtain entry, you must drink SPIT FROM A JAR (as demonstrated by SpongeBob). After singing the most obnoxious and forgettable song ever the Empty Head Society proceeds to destroy Bikini Bottom, and it's also revealed that Sandy is part of a club that deals with the Empty Heads themselves. You see how forced this is? In conclusion, this episode is unpleasant and annoying at the same time and it barely earns a place on my list. Just imagine the sheer horror of the other abominations...

#19: The Cent of Money

Ah yes, nothing better than a Gary Torture episode driven by greed. So this gunk revolves around Gary, who swallowed SpongeBob's fridge magnet and temporarily has the ability to attract metal objects like coins. Mr. Krabs finds out about that so he SNAILNAPS GARY AND FORCES HIM TO ATTRACT LOOSE CHANGE WHICH SPONGEBOB EXPLICITLY STATED THAT IT CAUSES HIM GREAT DISCOMFORT. Speaking of SpongeBob, he's a very likeable character here as he tries to protect his pet from his money-hungry boss (unlike something we'll talk about later). And the ending is also satisfying where Mr. Krabs loses all the money he collected via Gary as karma for his actions. But that's the only redeeming quality about this episode. Other than that it's just an episode fueling the somber decline of Mr. Krabs' character. Next entry, please.

One of the most infamous episodes of this cartoon. For many SpongeBob fans around the globe, this was a waste of time and money. This horrendous excuse for a TV movie was hyped up to the max, stating lies like how SpongeBob and Sandy would get married, and how the secret formula will finally be revealed after 10 years (those never happened). Speaking of 10 years, THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO CELEBRATE SPONGEBOB'S 10TH ANNIVERSARY, AND THEY BLEW IT! There are also cameos of multiple celebrities that barely anyone knows about, and the main plot is boring and poorly written. As you can tell from my profile, I was born 15 months before this episode aired in the United States which means I wasn't old enough to watch. This episode is only this high because of how the franchise BETRAYED its other supporters.

#17: Are You Happy Now?

This is the SADDEST episode in SpongeBob's history, and I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHY IT'S IN A CHILDREN'S SHOW. Anyway, SpongeBob tries to help Squidward find his happiest memory (he has had many, such as Band Geeks), but every activity they treat themselves to goes wrong. This gets to the point where Squidward becomes DEPRESSED about his life and even tries to UNALIVE HIMSELF. THE WRITERS WHO MADE THIS GARBAGE ARE CLEARLY ON SOMETHING. Moving on, SpongeBob is worried about Squidward's mental health and attempts to cheer him up to no avail, so he forces him into a box and transports him to the Krusty Krab where he created a party with papier-mâché life-sized models of himself. AND THE ENDING? LET'S NOT TALK ABOUT THAT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. NEXT EPISODE, PLEASE.

I honestly don't think this one is as bad as anyone says? the band geeks thing doesn't make sense? this show barely has any continuity, I honestly don't even care about the suicide jokes anymore, they're more okay now after a few rewatches, also one of my friends who are also on this forum said this episode really does have good representation of depression and I do agree since I have depression myself, honestly I find the ending very funny, this show has done way worse things

I respect your opinion, and I'm also glad you don't feel offended by this episode unlike me. This very 11 minutes of runtime is one of the most infuriating Squidward Torture episodes in my eyes, and the fact that it's only 17th on this list makes me feel faint.

For our next crummy contender, we have what might be the most UNDERHATED SpongeBob episode to ever air on TV (at least in my opinion). This abhorrent slop is scary, gross, and torturous AT THE SAME TIME. So, Sandy invents a teleporter and SpongeBob uses it to get to the Krusty Krab, but he accidentally noclips into Squidward which causes them to morph together. After that scene the rest of the episode is just Squidward and SpongeBob being abused in the most DISGUSTING and HORROR-INSTILLING WAYS POSSIBLE. This could potentially be even more unpleasant than Ink Lemona- wait, we'll get there... To add even MORE insult to injury, there's the ending. IT IS SO CREEPY. I HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO WATCH THAT AGAIN. IT IS ONE OF THE WORST ENDINGS IN THE ENTIRE SHOW.
