Xylophone tracks: good or bad?

For me, I hate these and wish they could not be used on the show. They're very annoying and I feel like it just doesn't fit the atmosphere of the show.

For me, these tracks are okay, just way too overused.

Unpopular opinion: I think the xylophone or any of the "cartoony" tracks composed for the show are good. Sure, some of them are way too overused and don't sound much like "SpongeBob" music like these two:

But when you get past their omnipresence and lack of that "SpongeBob" feel, they're pretty tuneful and unique.

I have to agree with you there. I think the tracks are okay. In fact, I just hate the over-usage of them. They play SO MUCH and it usually plays in boring scenes.

Bad because it reminds me of the time when they lack variety in playing music. At least the newer episodes had been doing variety in balancing both APM and original tracks

I wish they were used a bit less, but I'm pretty much fine with them. I do wish they'd use tracks like "Tomfoolery" more often instead of them, since the song generally offers the same emotion, with a more pleasant tune. However, I don't think the tracks should be abolished altogether, since they help offer some variety.

I don't really remember them, but they would likely fit the cartoony nature of the show.

I don't mind them much. They do make the newer episodes stand out and bring along trivial points for the characters, but it may get boring sometimes.

Thought you meant stuff like "Me for You" (not too good with my instruments...).

Used only twice, but a good tune. Needs to be used more often.
