The show can be mean spirited sometimes but why do some people hate it
 
I personally like the show, but I can see why people don't like it. It's pretty juvenile, but doesn't really have any qualities to it that someone above that juvenile humor would totally enjoy.
 
What's with so many "Why do people hate ____?" topics recently? You can check some reviews to find out why. Just saying.

I've only seen first season, the show is ok but humor can be immature at times and Sam herself is such an unlikeable characrer. From what I've heard, the show is mean-spirited, badly-written and unfunny and stupid; especially later seasons and stuff like iMeetFred abmbd iDateABadBoy sound plain awful. I hope that answers your question.
 
Well, it had a good concept, but from what I seen (usually for a few minutes, not a full episode), the show had poor humor and it's kinda cruel. So it's not for me...
 
like I said before it is why Nickelodeon sucks today five years of torture 2007-2012 I didn't do anything to deserve it.nickelodeon should have stopped at drake and josh.

Or just watch The Splat.
 
I only seen the pilot because a friend of mine had a small part. But other than that I never really seen the show, too girly for me.
 
Well, my parents never liked it a whole lot because of the noise level- there was a lot of screaming. And the plots really declined after the first two seasons- the specials were really awful and a lot of the episodes were very random and didn't make a lot of sense.
 
Eh, as I get older it still has its charm, but the whole pre-teen vibe of "lol random is funny all the time" has worn down a bit on me especially in some of the older episodes. Though I lean more towards Victorious I still think Spencer and others are timeless.
 
The bad episodes were downright horrid, and the blandness near the end really transitioned into what Dan Schneider is today....yeah, that's not good.

This show is eh, I thought it was good toward the begining of the series, but it went downhill from there.
 
I'm pretty sure people are just convinced it's another crappy Disney Channel-esque sitcom
