Which SpongeBob episode do you think are the most forgotten?

Honestly. I think the s3 specials are some of the most forgotten eps. Nick hardly reran them for years, so a lot of people havent seen them at all or at least not much. I still dont think they're aired very often. I hardly ever saw Ugh and The Lost Episode for years. And I havent watched Party Pooper Pants at all until a few years ago.
 
A lot of episodes from seasons 4-5 get forgetten, because it was right after the golden era, and that's when a lot of people stopped watching the show. For me, these episodes were airing durng my childhood, so I grew up on them, as well as older season dvd's.
 
I feel like Picture Day is a very forgotten episode. I actually like the episode, and I wouldn't necessarily call it forgettable, but I never hear anyone talk about it, like ever. Another I think is forgettable/is forgotten often is Ditchin'.

Im not sure. Maybe because the crew wanted to get used to the normal 11 minute format first, before trying to write for a new format like 22 minutes. Since they were just starting out.

I've seen a lot of cartoons in their first seasons have no special episodes, but then have them in the 2nd season.

It seems somewhat difficult for the SB crew to make 22 minute episodes in general at times too.

As for anything else, The Paper is pretty rare to see due to it being paired up with Valentine's Day.

Yeah good point. The Paper and the other episodes paired with the Holiday episodes are pretty forgotten too since they rarely aired.
 
The majority of season 8 (Squidward’s School For Grown-Ups, Sweet and Sour Squid, Mr. Krabs Takes A Vacation, InSPONGEiac, Glove World R.I.P to name a few). 9A also has eps like Gary’s New Toy, License to Milkshake and Jailbreak! that are barely talked about. In early seasons, Missing Identity and Clams are among the most forgotten, despite that I love them both
