When do you think SpongeBob will end?

In my opinion, if it gets up to 18 to 20 seasons and 500 episodes (if possible) then I think SpongeBob has somewhat overstayed its welcome after it's 500th episode and 18th to 20th Season. But if the show is moved to Nicktoons or one of the voice actors of the show passes away, then the show should end after broadcasting that said season.

Either when Nick finds another show with the same age-proof formula and characters that people like better (the "true successor") OR once a voice actor retires/dies

Sadly I think Condition 2 will happen first

The voice actors are getting older and some of them may not live much longer

Once Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown, Carolyn Lawrence, Lori Alan, Mary Jo Catlett, or Doug Lawrence retire/die Nickelodeon wouldn't hesitate to cancel the show!

Yeah, I think once the important voice actors retire or die is when SpongeBob will end. Judging by how the show doesn't have Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy anymore, they don't like replacing voice actors.

That said, I could still see the franchise living on through new iterations and spin-offs, much like Looney Tunes, The Flintstones and Scooby-Doo.

Yeah, it's likely that the franchise isn't going away anytime soon but the original show most likely will end when a main voice actor passes away.
