The title is self-explanatory. :p
But, would most kids know if he died though?Spider-man said:Depends on who, really. If someone like Tom Kenny would die/quit, Spongebob would definitely either be canceled or ratings would plummet pretty far down if they decided to continue it.
I would be worried the same thing...President Squidward said:No one would ever quit their jobs on the show since they all seem to love it and wouldn't choose any other job. Now, what I'm worried is that one of the voice actors will die (Rodger Bumpass is reaching his mid-60's) and they'd have to replace someone who isn't as great as Rodger himself for Squidward.

Somehow Harry Shearer is still alive and well and he's into his 70s now, hosting his own podcast and still doing voices on The Simpsons.President Squidward said:No one would ever quit their jobs on the show since they all seem to love it and wouldn't choose any other job. Isn't that force?I'd find a cure for death to bring them back to life, then use the money I get from this scientific discovery to make sure they're paid well enough to never ever quit. ;)
The guy who voiced Mermaid Man (Ernie) died in 2012.If it was the voice actor or actress for a secondary character such as Mermaid Man or the Dirty Bubble, they'll probably either retire the character or get someone else to voice the character. If the character appears for one episode and the voice actor or actress dies after, they'll find another voice actor or actress to voice him or her. If the character appears for a lot of episodes and the voice actor or actress dies after, they'll retire the character.
If one of the voice actors or actresses for the main characters died, I'd imagine the whole show dies along with him or her as well. The voice actors and actresses in this show are very iconic. They have been around ever since the show started and built the foundation of SpongeBob. Out of all the voices on the show, Rodger Bumpass is the oldest out of all of them at the age of 63. And Rodger is the voice of Squidward, which means if he dies first, the show loses a very major character which means the show will die as well. Maybe they will find another voice actor to voice Squidward and maybe they won't, but I wouldn't want them to find another voice actor for Squidward. I'd rather mercy kill the show than find someone else to replace Rodger.
I'm guessing so, because as far as I know he's the only one that can do the signature laugh. But, would most kids know if he died though?
I know that.BaconUnicornsAndSpongeBob said:The guy who voiced Mermaid Man (Ernie) died in 2012.
Ok. So you were right, since they retired Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy.I know that.
German VA?They'll just be replaced like with Ernest, and I think the German VA for Squidward as well.

What happened to them? Did they quit/die too?German voice actor.
I believe Patrick has had two voice actors in Germany too.
Patrick's first voice actor got fired (I think) and Squidward's first voice actor died.BaconUnicornsAndSpongeBob said:What happened to them? Did they quit/die too?
Oh. I wonder why he got fired.Patrick's first voice actor got fired (I think) and Squidward's first voice actor died.
