Outdated meme I know
After watching the infamous "Scary" Klasky-Csupo logo, I wondered: What if SpongeBob was made by the company who made Rugrats and many other shows? Obviously it was have that logo at the end, but what about in style?

I think a few of the KC shows had this weird sort of charm to them in their looks. Other shows they did however I was never a big fan of.Supmandude said:It'd be ugly, but not in an awesome and hilarious way. I'd never watch it.
Aren't the weird character designs part of Klasky-Csupo's charm though?DadMom AngryPants said:I guess it would have ended with all of the other Klasky-Csupo shows in the mid-2000s, because didn't the studio mostly shut down? Unless SpongeBob's popularity kept them in business or something.
Also it would be ugly.
For people who like Klasy-Csupo's style I guess the weirdness is part of the charm, but it never appealed me.BabySmitty said:Aren't the weird character designs part of Klasky-Csupo's charm though?
If SB were made by that company, or were even designed by them..... man, my curiosity has piqued! Spongebob is a show about weird-looking sea critters who live in a nautical setting. A show that takes place underwater would of course be filled with wavy lines, squiggles, curves, and weird shapes.
I think it'd be awesome-looking. Maybe not as overtly cute, but that style could lend itself well to the weird setting of the show.
Now.. imagine if the entire show looked exactly like Stephen Hillenburg's concept art! There's something I'd love to see!
