What if SpongeBob started off with the 2004 movie?

I'm not exactly sure, but I think the show would be a little less enjoyable IMO.

Then events would've been completely different. Like, there wouldn't be Stephen Hillenburg leaving, anything pre-movie probably would've come out after it (I'm assuming it would), and there probably wouldn't have been that many bad episodes. But hey, that's my guess.

Oh so original, that ain't ever been done before.

I feel like things would be really confusing if it started off with the movie, because it feels like it was made for fans of the show.

If the show started with the 2004 movie, then Spongebob's character arc in the movie would not be nearly as satisfying and heartwarming to watch.

The series wouldn't really work if it started out with the movie and I'm glad it didn't. It would be confusing and most of the episodes from Seasons 1-3 would of been altered.

That would be odd since the first movie was supposed to be an "ending" of sorts for the show itself (even if episodes were produced after it, which of course they were).

Wouldn't be that good (especially since we would be missing key episodes), but oh well. I think that the series would be a whole lot different to accomodate different stuff.

That would be really inconsistent since the movie was dark and the show is light hearted
